My health has not been great these days and wondered whether a sauna therapy is a good option. Have anyone tried any sauna therapy program? If you have any suggestions let me know. Thanks.

It depends

Greatness, I know some people swear by their sauna or steamroom time (no wisecracks, boys) as the source of their continued good health. But I also know that if you have certain illnesses a sauna or steamroom is the worst place to be. Before you start a sauna regimen, please go to a doctor and find out what ails you and whether you should avoid the sauna.

I have a friend that has a rare Skin disorder and I sent her to a woman i know that has an infrared sauna.

my friend for years was disabled and home bound by a weird hard to understand sometimes doubted belief that she had Morgellons disease

she now lives in AZ for the climate and utilizes a infrared sauna as a part of her treatment for this unknown disease which at times made he very very sick and exhausted.

she seems to believe it has help her on many levels besides detoxifying effects she is now free from horrible disfiguring rashes and weird lesions that i often saw her with.

they claim it removes heavey metals from the body because it goes deeper than a regualr sauna and is not harmful.

I have not used one but it may be worth looking into for what ever your health situation is

Please greatness consult a MD 1st before venturing off into one of these things and read the article i attached

hope you get better soon i would like to be able to meet you some day.

Jackcali thank you for your input. I am running out of options at this point.

I don't know what your health problem is, so I don't know whether "sauna therapy" is appropriate, but I do know that public saunas can be incubators for some health problems, particularly staph infections, so I wouldn't do anything without discussing it first with a doctor.

I use one at a hospital and staffs do their best to keep it clean. However, you have a valid point about a staph infection. Thank you for your piece of advice.
