I guess years of crack and getting smacked around did not affect her vocal abilities. She can still hit the high notes and very powerfully delivers. Surprising in all that she has been through but good for her. I hope she has great success and this time does not abuse herself and does not allow others to abuse her.

That's funny; I didn't think so. Compare it to "I Will Always Love You" or "I'm Every Woman" and she sounds kind of low-energy and weak now. But I kind of like that quality, like later Billie Holiday...it's the voice of someone who's lived hard.

I dont think many singers would ever be able to hit the high notes like she did in "I will always love you" But it is twenty years later almost and considering what has

transpired in her life, I think there area very few popular singers who can reach some of the notes she hits on this CD. As for energy, there really isnt an upbeat number on this CD which isnt surprising as it is hard to imagine one really fitting in here. But her delivery still packs a powerful emotional punch.

We agree I think that this is not the same talent as big haired Whitney but it is still big voiced Whitney.
