I have seats on the floor at Madison Square Garden for Cher's upcoming farewell tour on June 27. I also have tickets for LA and Cincinnati as well (or will have).

I was trying to get seats for MSG on ticketmaster.com on Monday...I had seats in the 4th row, section 3...and then my stupid screen froze. When I had rebooted, I was in the back of section 5. Then an hour after those tickets had gone on sale, they added the second show, but I didn't find out until an hour after that & then that was almost sold-out. I tried to get 2nd row center seats on ebay this morning but somebody outbid me & the auction ended. And it's rainy out. Today sucks.

How do you have tix for LA when they haven't gone on sale yet? Are you sleeping with Chastity? (that was for Will :p) How good are your seats?

Good for you, EXPAT. You must be quite the Cher fan!

I like her too, but her new look (the botox induced, freeze-dried face) is a little Morticia-ish for me.

At her age, I wouldn't count on this being the actual "farewell" tour. Frank Sinatra retired about 12 times, and this was when he was far older than Cher. Once you've heard the adoration of the crowd at a live performance, it's hard to turn your back on it for long.

Enjoy the shows.

I must admit my first reaction was the same as Trav's;-),i like Cher just not as a dance diva but hey go for it ,this from a guy thinking of shelling out $$$$$ to see the Rolling Stones again and who paid $125 for tickets and another $200 for accommodation to see Lenny Kravitz and John Mellencamp on consecutive nights in July -thats gonna be a good weekend ;-)

I can't figure out why she elicits such extreme negative and extreme positive emotions from people. I have been a fan for 30 years and she has done so many amazing things. I have actually seen her in concert 12 times in many countries and she always puts on a great show. It's one of the few times I can actually go to a concert and be entertained.

She isn't retiring, but claims to not be touring anymore. She did say that she wants to perform at Carnegie Hall some day doing standards. So I'm sure she will do isolated shows in addition to movies. She has two in the works now.

But her current CD, Living Proof, is a great piece of entertainment although she did release three different versions - one in Europe, one in the US and one in Asia.

She's talented, and she certainly has stayed in the public eye for years, which was no easy task. But her politics or public statements often make me want to throw-up, including her overwhelming sorrow when Sonny died...after bashing him for years. I guess I view her like Streisand, talented, but her public personna outweighs my ever wanting to see her.

I am planning on seeing Ms. Cher when she arrives at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. I am ALSO going to see Liza in NYC at the end of the month. I am ALSO going to see Ms. Ross when she is in California ... it's going to be a summer of Diva worship!

Seeing Cher live is not to be missed.

You will BELIEVE in magic!

The Bob Mackie costumes and the cast of thousands that make it happen don't hurt. But it's Herself that sells it.

I know that this is heresy, but I wouldn't cross the street to go to one of her concerts. I just don't like her music, too much lip-synching (at least on shows live Divas Live) and I can't stand that electronically-enhanced vocal shit that she and Brittney Spears are so fond of.

Probably my loss, but I'll live without her.

Quite a Cher fan: ) Let's just say... Expat puts all other Cher fans to shame...

I personally can't stand her, but hey if you're looking for a date for one of the shows... *grin*...I promise not to make fun.

Cher's concerts aren't very deep yet they're quite fun! I am planning on seeing her on this farewell tour too.

Matt, dear, you continue to lose points with me with every anti-Cher comment. I would much rather go with someone who appreciates her and I will in all three places. There are 10 of us going to the NYC concert. There are 5 of us going to the one in Cincinnati and 3 of us going to the one in Los Angeles.
