I was riding home on the train last night fresh from an encounter with Sean Knight that had me smiling. I thought that this encounter was one of the finer ones I had ever had but thought that I really had not had that many. I started to run the list of escorts I have hired in the several years of hiring and realized that perhaps I should not consider myself at novice at this anymore. Since Daddy assigns a rank according to the number of posts, I was wondering when does one stop being a "newbie" at hiring and when does one become a "master", a "knight" or even a "lord".

What about the escorts, how many encounters does it take for an escort to earn his stripes? I know that some will say that it is the style and personality and service that makes an escort a "prince" or a "king" but we all have to admit that as talented as some may be it does take "practice practice practice" to be able to truly satisfy the masses.

 

By the way, for me, about 25 different hires for more than 100 encounters. Surpisingly, to me, there were six guys I have hired only once, three guys who make up about half of my encounters and there were 9 escorts who entrusted me with their real name and there was only one guy whose name I never got, just a screen name. There were 2 escorts I was sorry I hired and then another 4 I would not hire again.

Total expenditure About 6 months pay before taxes. Youch.

Among escorts I have hired two escorts are currently serving time, one died (Sad... RIP), two of them are physically ill. One just took money and ran. Two used someone else's photos and stats. One showed up with STD and ignored my advice to see a doctor. One made up stories to get more money. One made me travel a long distance and didn't show up without any notice. One said he would show up but never did without any explanation. Come to think of it I have actually hired a lot if I count all those above. I only had a great time with two escorts. Unfortunately they both retired within a year. Is it me or other people have similar problems? At least I can read reviews here so I don't hire wrong people.

I began hiring back in 1990 - quite a while ago. Most of the hires were in Europe, and I have to say many were sporadic and frenzied (little choice, and this was before massive use of the internet in advertising).

 

I stumbled on this site around the same time (have I been on and off this that long??? -- the new ratings belie the fact that I moved twice and somehow lost my log-on and had to start over).

 

Most memorable escort I have had has retired but we still remain acquaintances. I would say lately that most give me their real name (and I share part of mine with them), and some turn into a second (or more) encounter. Right now I am shopping the NYC market, which is fun but also unnerving as there are too many choices.

 

Like the first two posting here, I have had a string of bad experiences too: guys who were strictly gay-for-pay, scam artists, nice guys for an hour or two but nightmares for an overnight or longer, one or two who "attempted" to extort money (ah, the games!!!), one who tried to ruin my reputation because I dared give him a not-so-stellar review here.... (and to this day I think he is still a first class jerk - but never dare utter his name...), but by and large, I can say more than 50% have been nice guys, really terrific, people who I enjoyed meeting and who brightened my day.

I have been hiring since about 1980, when the main source was little classified ads in the back of gay newspapers and magazines. The internet came as a great relief, since one can see pics and much more text and detail on places like rentboy, and this site has been terrific. Now I rarely hire anybody who hasn't been reviewed on this site.

 

I long since lost count of the number of escorts I've hired over the past almost 30 years, but I have to say that most of the experiences have been good, just a few have been awful, the remainder some degree of mediocre.

 

My most memorable experience is still one of the very earliest ones, from the early 1980s - a graduate student in architecture from Greece who was living in a studio apartment on the upper East Side and escorting to help make ends meet. The man had the body of a Greek god in a statue, was extraordinarily well hung, was a fiercely passionate top, and took charge of this then-very-young and inexperienced guy for a most unforgettable session. Indeed, he fucked me twice and came twice and at the end I was like a limp rag with a stupid grin on my face. Sadly, I only experienced him twice before he finished his studies and returned to Greece....

 

What I've found in recent years is that I have gravitated to a handful of escorts with whom I repeat, although every now and then I am tempted to experiment with somebody new - but that hasn't happened in quite a while. One local guy here in NYC I've seen several times over the past few years, and two regular visitors to NYC I've been a few times a year. I don't hire as much as I used to (busyness at work and cash flow issues have slowed me down), but continue to find this a useful way to satisfy my need for human contact and sexual connection.

 

I guess given the sheer number of escort encounters stretching back over 30 years, I would qualify as among the most experienced customers on this site.

My very simple reply is that the 3 Guys who over a period of 6 Years I have been hanging out in "The Wonderful World of Working Guys" I have Great Memories of, have made all the others Good/Bad/Whatever fade into History!

 

The ONLY exception would be my 2 Hrs with "OLIVIER" whose stay at Maximum was way to short! Then again I would probably be Broke IF it wasn't!
