I woke up yesterday morning just thinking I was very constipated, but something just wasn't right and I went to the hospital. Apparently my appendix decided it was time to go, and I am in bed now for the next few days as I recover.

I think you will always remember MJ and FF died the same day you had appendicitis. I am not trying to be gruesome; most of us put a tag on certain days to perpetuate the memory. I know where I was on the day JFK was assassinated and so does everyone else who was alive when it happened.

Yes, having that crampy gassy feeling and then not feeling relieved after "going" is a classic red flag for appendicitis, assuming you still have one. I know - had mine out this past year, too.

Thanks coop! I am getting along faster than I anticipated, but I am definitely not going to rush it. This has kinda put a kink in my gym schedule, but that's ok...I'll just work harder when I'm back to normal! I had one of my pageants yesterday and it was weird having to sit down the whole time and let my partner and friends handle all the details for me, but I was grateful to have them around me or otherwise I would have been sunk.

 

I'd like to thank everyone for the kind emails, phone calls and texts the past few days...it really means alot to me!
