Numbers is changing drastically

This change will keep me from going to Numbers going forward. I have no interest in seeing women porn stars or straight male porn stars who only do straight porn in my gay venues even if they still have some gay porn stars. Especially in this venue, because they go around and talk to the patrons. Very disappointed.

Why would the bar-owner or organiser imagine that guys who like to socialise with hot gay men (porn stars, escorts etc) would want female porn stars and straight male guys in close proximity?

I suspect since the owner/manager is straight he thinks he will bring in a bigger audience. I don't think that will be the case. It's one thing to have women dancers at a bar but since they are hosts, I don't want to be put in a position saying - yes I'll talk to you and no I won't talk to you. They are working for tips and I have no interest in tipping them.

I agree with you: I've no problem with women in a social setting. There are plenty of 'straight' bars and clubs anyway

 

But if I go to a bar because it has hot young guys there, who may be susceptible to being hired later, I don't want a sexually-charged atmosphere diluted.

It sounds like their Number is up. Not enough business from the gay guys, and this solution will hurt that business. Why not just improve the food?

It's funny you say that. The owner/manager said he was going to "continue" to focus on the food. . .

It does not sound good . I wish I had something to go to that had some gay folks in attendance . Here if I want to see Gay men I have to go to the reception desk at the Holiday Inn...... and that is not always reliable .

That is why I hire and even that is not always good !!

Wouldn't be a better idea to make a "straight" night with female porn-stars and a gay night with gay/male porn-stars and escorts instead of mixing both?

This concept works well at other venues.

So I guess my visit last week was on one of the last good nights, huh? There were a few women, young, beautiful, great bodies, provocatively dressed, sitting at a booth with some guys, and I wondered what there story was. They never mingled in the crowd, and I thought perhaps they just liked the "gals". Have women frequented the place recently?
