Thur-Sat 7PM-2AM. Open Sunday 'Til 2 AM on holiday weekends. Cover charge: none ID needed for entry: yes Drinks: reasonable, $3-$4 for most, up to $6 for call brands Format: Upstairs floor (street level) houses the stage and a bar. Mostly standing room with a dozen and a half bar stools lined against the opposite wall on weekend nights. Lower level (open weekends only) is the dance floor with a second bar and standing room only. Mix of Top 40 and house music. Coat check room is downstairs -- $2 coat check mandatory on weekends. Dancers: Mix of younger to 30ish guys, clean cut, all body types (twinks/swimmers/muscle) can be seen, all ethnicities (a number of Brazilians lately). Majority are gay; all are gay-friendly. The occasional dancer may do privates, many do not. Most circulate between dance sets to work the crowd for tips. Many are friendly if you are discrete -- just depends on the dancer. Caution is necessary with management. The Stage: Four dancers usually perform Fri/Sat with two dancers the other five nights. Holiday weekend Sundays may see three or four dancers. Every six to eight weeks, dancers are brought in from Montreal or Toronto for a weekend. Typically each dancer appears on stage for a two or three song set and starts or strips down to his skivvies, jock strap, or g-string. Nudity is prohibited by city ordinance. Dancers are tipped on stage usaully by the customer slipping one or two dollar bills in their 'costume'. Touching and caressing is allowed except for the genital region. Be polite. You might get lucky on the floor when the dancer circulates. Crowd: Weekends find a mix of all ages for dance and show. On weekdays there is no dance, the crowd tends to be a little older.
