I am thinking of a quick trip to Montreal before winter begins. Has the economic downturn afected the clubs? Do fewer Americans and Canadians go and has this resulted in fewer performers? Which clubs are now considered the best?

Are any of you thinking of going or have you gone lately? I find meeting other visitors just as fun as meeting the guys. Also, have they introduce new price structures and booths?

Finally, if any of you are planning to go, it would be fun to see if a group of us could meet up there.

Thanks guys,

hg

You couldn't have picked a better time to visit Montreal than now since the Canadian dollar is collapsing as fast as the stock market and oil prices. Today it went to 84 cents US, which is over a 25 percent drop since its high only months ago. The price of gas at the pumps has also dropped a lot.

As for the general economy, things are not too bad as of now and we have not witnessed the type of economic distress that has been experienced in the US. There has been no drop in employment or house prices, just the financial markets, mostly because of the situation from south of the border.

US visiters to the stripper clubs has declined over the last months as the Canadian dollar climbed above parity. How quickly they return is anyone's guess since now the general economy in the US is in the dumps and people don't have as much disposible income as previously.

I haven't been to the clubs as much recently but mostly because I have a favorite escort who keeps me happy at home.:9

For Americans thinking of going to Montreal/Canada, the increase in value of the US dollar is great news----it makes visits much more enticing from cheaper hotel stays to not minding the $20 lap dances in the back!! With gasoline prices steadily decreasing, I am definitely planning at least one trip before winter. This weekend would have been perfect, weather-wise, but with the US holiday and Candian Thanksgiving, I prefer not to fight the traffic jams at the border. Stay tuned, I'll definitley be going toward the end of the month or early in November---need to look at the long-range weather forecasts.
