Proposal to tax lap-dances

Today's NY Post reports that NY Assemblyman Felix Ortiz is introducing a bill that will require lap-dancers to be licensed and pay taxes out of their "g-strings". Club owners will be held responsible to see it's enforced.

 

Hard to tell how far this will go, but I'm sure we'll hear more on Leno and Letterman...

Maybe not only in New York. There is a new fee, which I think goes into effect today, in Texas, where anyone going into an SOB (sexually oriented business) has to pay $5 to the state.
