Hey guys! My NY trip is winding down to a close soon, and I promised Cooper I would post my thoughts on visiting the 20 club for all to see. Now, I don't have the literary prowess of BN, so pardon me if this reads more like a 9th grade term paper! :)

I met Cooper, Taz, Rendie and Foxy for an early dinner at a restaurant called Sensa (great food!), then we headed over to the club. My first impression of the environment was very nice! Imagine a top-shelf gentleman's club, except with half-naked boys. The chairs were very comfortable, upholstered in a nice soft red. We were ushered to a nice seating area to the side of the stage, close to the back area where they give lap dances (gee, no wonder these guys like to sit back there! :>). The talent was very diverse...younger, daddy-type, cuban, puerto rican, usual Montreal types with the big leather boots :>, etc. There was a fair amount of patrons there as well. Right before I left, I think the place was 70% full. My escort friend Kyle Douglas (http://www.kyledouglasxxx.com) met us for half of the evening and had favorable thoughts about the place as well. As far as bad things, there was only 2 that I can think of...and in the spirit of being "fair and balanced," I will share them:

1. I was not impressed with the cocktail waiter. Yes, he was very nice and cute and all...but he spent more time sitting on his butt and flirting with patrons than he did doing his job: getting me my $10 corona's.

2. Mixed drinks were odviously week...Kyle paid about $14 for essentially a cranberry juice with a splash of vodka. And, this is after the cute little waiter asked him "do you want it strong?" Ha :)

Well...about 9:30 Kyle and I went ahead and moved on to check out some thing else in NY. Hey Coop, sorry dude but I didn't make it to Hiro. I'll let you know about it on my next trip. However, I did make it to The Cock (2nd av and 2nd st). Wow...that is definately a unique bar. Let's just say, the dancers are a WHOLE lot more interactive there!

Anyways, in conclusion I do recommend the 20 club...it's a neat, classy environment to have some fun with some attractive dancers.

I'd definately go again, and if I still danced I'd definately consider trying to get booked there.

Jason,

It would have been great to see you again off stage -wink*

Sorry I missed the get together. I had a dinner to attend that didn`t end until late and wouldn`t have been there until after 11pm.

Have fun on the Rentboy Cruise and spank your roomate for me. ;-)

Hey Jason, Thanks for your 20 Club report. It's interesting to hear how younger guys view the club.

The 20 Club originally attracted former Gaiety patrons. The doors open at 5pm to accomodate the "be in bed by 11" group. Lately, we've been noticing more and more younger guys frequenting the club. Some of whom are better looking than the dancers.

If you look at the faces of patrons doing lap dances you can easily see why clubs like this exist. For some men, it's the only place where they can find affection, even if it comes at a cost.

I think you're reading more into it than there is. The only younger people I saw in the club were a very well behaved group of 6 young men who were taking their friend out for his birthday. At no time did I see any pretentious "Chelsea Boys" acting out & making other customers feel uncomfortable. I stand by my recommendation for the 20 club.

Jason!

Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't questioning your evaluation. As anyone from the Stock website will tell you, I can be a little odd at times. My reaction is just another example of me being me.

I'll get over it, I'm sure, and I'll be back at the Club 20 driving Cooper and Taz crazy in no time :)

Hey Jason, I think Hoover and I have a different definition for the word "younger"... You might have seen only 6 younger guys, I saw about 36. :-)

Hoover, Looking forward to your return trip. You know the routine.

Thanks, Taz. I was hoping to come up this month, but it good hotel rooms under $500 a night appear to scarce lately.

My next overnight visit may have to wait until after the start of the new year.

However, I am considering coming up Sunday afternoon and leaving on the last train for DC Sunday night (around 11 p.m.).

"Thiry six?! With that many young guys there, I'm sure I will have no chance at all to dance with Ace."

Hoover, Whether it be the cocktail waiter Ace or any of the 30 male strippers, they'll easily figure out which patrons are packing a bulge in their wallets. Age to them means nothing and, if that doesn't work, just sit next to Taz and work on the over-flow. :-)
