Apparently, muscleservice is developing a website for the Gaiety. They are looking for input and suggestions. This may be a "pay" website to view photos, etc.

Your thoughts?

Guys,

I’ve been asked to help develop a website for the Gaiety. My client on this project is looking for feedback from Gaiety patrons and/or potential site visitors on site design, features and pricing. If you would be interested in providing feedback we can use in developing the site, please respond immediately to me at [email protected] and I will send you a link to a sample of the site design and our questions we’d like answered. For your participation in this you will receive one free week at your choice of the following websites:

http://www.MuscleService.com

http://www.BuiltBears.com

http://www.XcoMedia.com

http://www.BigRoger.com

http://www.BigPJ.com

http://www.JoeyJordan.com

http://www.BigBeefXXX.com

http://www.CaesarWorld.com

Responses to our questionnaire received after January 4 may be too late to be considered.

Thanks,

Ace

Hmmmm - don't know what to make of this except someone has finally convinced Denise to hand in her candle and butter churn for something more modern. If it is a pay site I will vomit.

BLAH BLAH BLAH, I dont think anyone on earth (except Neo) could talk Denise into developing a web site unless SHE had FULL control of its content...

It sounds like someone from muscleservice is just trying to make a few more dollars like the "DIRTY APARTMENT LANDLORD" on Gaiety customers....

Nice try but my money is on Denise FREAKING when she see's it......

I was thinking the same thing BUT I was afraid to post my thoughts for fear of getting stoned in the public square. Would someone be so brazen as to do all of this?

I know that there was a message center member here (I think he isn't talking to me anymore) who was trying to convince Denise to do a website but he had to take it slow because she is very traditional and slow to change as her business wheel isn't really broken at all (therefore, she feels, if it isn't broken why fix it).

What I do know is that she DOESN'T like the pictures that are posted and she doesn't particularly care about the Internet and how it can help the Gaiety and, moreover, I don't think she cares that patrons want a website. Maybe she had a big change of heart? Maybe there are other people getting more involved in the business end of the G? AND will there nbe pics of NEO? ;)

CONTROL !!!!! (Its a Greek thing)

Denise wants it both ways (OWWWWW SEXY).

She doesnt like the site or the pics but takes full advantage of the customers who use the site weekly for the reviews.

I dont think even Denise could say with a straight face that the HooBoy message center or past NYO reviews hasent helped build her business.

Some of the details posted here could get the Gaiety closed, so it is a mixed blessing, I am sure. The Gaiety survives as a strip club, not a #### house.

It used to be that a vice cop had to make a case before a place could get shut down. With all of the details of "privates" here the cop can just sit back and let these posters testify for him.

This is very true. I make my travel plans based on what I read about the week's Gaiety performers on THIS website. I miss NYO's detailed and highly informative reports.

I am further puzzled about Denise's decision to work with muscleservice.com instead of HooBoy. Much of what is posted about the Gaiety on muscleservice.com is copied from HooBoy.

The G place DOES NOT survive as a strip club......

If the dancers didnt do "P#$^>ES" NONE of them would be there for $20.00 in dollar bills per show which is something "D" women needs to realize.....

She says "IAM NOT INVOLVED" and know "NOTHING ABOUT P#$^>RD" but neither can survive without the other....She STILL continues to offer the NASTY APARTMENT as a place to say for dancers....

I have been with dancers from the club when Sansy stops by to pick up the rent on W 49th Street. I don't think it is true to say that Denise provides the apartment for the dancers.

On the muscleservice thread about the Gaiety website, it is made very clear by the site's owner that development of this is at the request of Denise. Though I can't imagine paying a monthly fee to receive information that is reported so well on this M4M site and for free.

If you guys want some input in to the site, then fill out a survey.

It took me 4 minutes

Yeah, I dont know if I would pay a monthly fee either, but some guys are loaded and have plenty of money to spend so it may work. If you dont like the idea of paying, fillout a survey and say that, or suggest an alternative.

I know absolutely nothing about developing websites, but Ace (owner of msucleservice) has created visually entertaining sites. There is a good deal of information too, but I think (pound for pound) there is more info here at HooBoys and a lot more graphics at muscleservice.

Either way, I will always come here if I want to find out stuff about the Gaiety. I will also continue with muscleservice, just cause its a great site

Either attendance is low and Denise needs more dollars,

OR

Yeah, but it would be nice if she is making a deal with Muscleservice to have more of their guys dance at the G too. :7

Whatever the case, I would not pay for the access to the site.

I think paying for any of the strip clubs sites is re-DICK-ulous.

Hooboy doesn't offer website design services. Daddy does offer website hosting, but last time I asked his rates were a little on the high side.

John, I don't think that's clear at all. If you'll re-read the whole thread very carefully, you'll see that Ace Bannon makes no such assertion. This is how he announced the project a few days ago.

"I’ve been asked to help develop a website for the Gaiety. My client on this project is looking for feedback from Gaiety patrons and/or potential site visitors on site design, features and pricing. . ."

Almost immediately, someone raised the obvious issue.

"I was curious if this was officially santioned (sic) by Denise of The Gaiety."

To which Ace replied:

"Yes, we are of course developing the site with Denise."

When doubts and objections were raised (similar to those posted here), Ace elaborated.

"No one is suggesting anyone pay $30 a month to read a review. That is not part of what we're currently looking at developing. Denise is a very shrewd and successful businesswoman. If our proposal to her is not what she's looking for, the site won't happen. . ."

I suspect we're going to find out eventually that Ace's "client" is not Denise, but a third party who's trying to pitch the idea to her with the help of an established professional. The motivation may be as much personal/erotic as it's entrepreneurial (think Sansy, for instance), but whoever's behind it, I doubt very much that the idea began with Denise herself. She may have agreed to "consider" whatever proposal Ace and his client come up with, but I'm virtually certain she won't go along with it.

And why should she? Once you review all the problems (practical and logistic) that are bound to come up--never mind the scarcity of potential subscribers--you'd have to say (literally): "Who needs it?"
