I've seen the recent posts about the Gaiety dancers that are now asking for $250-$300 -- and I've been amused at all the handwringing and belly-aching by all you queens.

Get over yourself.

I go to the Gaiety at least twice a month (I'm from LA and get to NYC on business several times a month) -- and the last time I was there I had to of the Gaiety boys and easily dropped $2,500 between the two of them over a 5-6 hour period on a Friday night.

One of the guys is a Gaiety favorite - Trevor - and I hear everyone on this board raving about him everytime he dances -- but then you all nickle and dime him for $250! Sucking him off for a few hours (along with another buddy of his) was well work the nearly $1,500 I paid him.

If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen - if you don't have the bucks get out of the Gaiety!:7 :o

Nice.

I am going to assume that this was a serious post... even though I grant you that it is just as likely to be bogus.

Just several thoughts from a non Gaiety person in random order...

1) If everyone who couldn't stand the heat got out of the Gaiety, there would be no Gaiety for you to go to every other week to drop your 2500. It is the $17 customers who keep it open, as they are the ones who pay the rent. This is true unless Trevor is kicking back money to the house after his windfall last week, anyway.

2) I admit that I have paid BIG money for some people who I have found exceptionally hot, but I don't necessarily feel that proud about it. Certainly it is not something that I brag about.

3) "Nickle and dime him for $250" is an oxymoron.

4) One of the problems that occurs with lack of empathy is lack of big picture thinking. If one cannot understand other perspectives, then it certainly limits how you view the world. Unfortunately, there are not enough people who are either able or willing to drop money at a rate of $500 an hour just to suck someone off to sustain an entire adult xxx industry... so if you criticize others for worrying about prices, you will soon have a dying adult industry.

I am not a Gaiety person. I don't choose to spend many of my recreational dollars there, nor do I care for the content of most of the privates there. But as someone who also throws big money into the gay adult xxx industry, I appreciate its worth to the overall picture, and therefore wish it all the best. I also understand the importance of keeping the escort industry in general affordable to a reasonable segment of the population if there is to be maintained quality.

You did mention that you are a businessman... and so I would think even if you did have big bucks as you imply, you would understand that very important concept.

It's hard to see the point of this post, aside from its egregious and obnoxious flaunting of cash and the childish intent to start a fight.

I will say this; if the poster had paid more attention to what people were actually writing, he would notice that many people have already taken his "advice" and refused to pay more than what in their judgment they feel is appropriate. Why that upsets him so is a issue for him and his psychologist.

Does this not sound a little like WOLF?

Especially when he says "and I've been amused at all the

handwringing and belly-aching by all you queens."

He throws his money around like WOLF too.

It might help to read manrent1's current post in light of what he's written in the past. (And, by the way, I dont think he's Wolf.)

This is the same guy who recently complained of being ridiculed over staging 3-ways or quartets for which he hired a couple of Gaiety dancers along with a gal and watched them go at it when he wasn't trying to get his own licks in (so to speak.) Then, as now, he made it plain that one of his coalition of the willing was Trevor, and I guess the other was Austin (though he may have been referred to by another name.) During that thread, he says this mini-bacchanalia cost him "around $2,500."

The current post obviously recounts the same incident--though there's no mention of the gal this time. It also sets the time frame as covering a 5 to 6 hour period on a marathon (Friday) night. Now, given that the last of the Friday shows ends in the wee hours of the morning, the revels can't have got underway much before 3 AM--putting the whole hire into the overnight category.

Let's see: an overnighter for Trevor, another for Austin, and whatever a genuinely pretty hooker can command for a multiple hour session with multiple partners (it ain't cheap, folks)--and all for "around $2,500"?

Hell, seen in this budget-conscious context, manrent1 is definitely no high-roller (if that's the image he was going for)--he sounds more like a skinflint to me. (In any case, he seems to be counting his gay pennies at least a closely as the 'queens' he's sneering at here.)

Manrent1 is also the guy who posted this a few weeks ago:

"My experience at the gaiety is that Money talks. I've had hot, straight, bodybuilders who say they will only allow body worship--who for the right price were on their knees sucking me off and MORE! If you have the cash these guys will perform."

This sex-as-a-power-trip kind of thinking goes hand in hand with the compulsion to flaunt having money.(And, if you'll pardon the obvious pop-psychology gloss, both are symptoms of a deep-seated insecurity and nagging doubts about self-worth.)

Incidentally, I was really pleased to see how wisely Marc Anthony dealt with this silly, boastful outburst. MA has often struck me as something of a 'flaunter' himself, what with his tales of traipsing back and forth between Florida and Montreal with a seeming cortege of hot & cold running twinks in attendance. But I now think I misjudged him. In contrast to manrent1, he seems much more like other genuinely well-heeled guys I know--those for whom money is a means of spreading happiness around in a true spirit of generosity & joie de vivre--not as a crushing proof of his superiority over those of more modest financial circumstances.

Another pleasant aspect of this whole tale is that it was so nice a guy as Trevor who, by taking this asshole's money, helped him to feel a little better about himself.

Personally, I wouldn't even think of going with a Gaiety dancer who didn't think his time was worth at least $500 for a session. I really trip on paying these guys, yes, these straight guys. My money makes them crazy and I feel so good when they drop their drawers all because I have the cash they want.

I like to spread the bills all over the bed, with the dancer picking each one up between his butt cheeks. The more bills he picks, the higher the denominations. Then I take the biggest bill that has been in his ass, remember, it's MY money, and I sniff it like a fine cigar.

If I haven't spurted by then I make the escort take my fat, thick wallet and lick it all around the edges, slowly opening it to see the big greenbacks inside. If he wants one, he has to stroke his cock over my face for each one he takes.

When all of the money is gone, I haul out my bank statement just to see the escort drool over how much I have left.

Then, I return to the Gaiety and do it all over again!

God,I love my money!

BRAVO LUCKY! This is good. But I'd rather sniff the bills that were wrapped around his cock and balls.

RE: Get over yourself

"God, I love my money"...

lol... Very funny Lucky. We need more unpretentious people like you posting.

And the moral to Lucky's story is, "it's better to give than to receive"... :-)

I bet the G-dancers are really enjoying this thread. :+
