You may be asking yourself what is PICTURE WEDNESDAY? More importantly, you may be asking why I am choosing to regulate my medication again. Well, Wednesday, in my humble opinion, is a dreaded day. It isn’t the hell that Monday and Tuesday delivers. However, it most certainly doesn’t give us the joy that Thursday and Friday delivers as well. Wednesday is a cock tease. Wednesday taunts us. Wednesday dares us to be happy. Wednesday is right in the middle of the “man’s” workweek and DAMN IT, I am not taking it anymore! I also know that suburban and office cubicle folklore states that Wednesday is Hump Day because half the week is gone. I don’t like the word hump. It has a sexual connotation and does everything have to be so overtly sexual in our society? Bad enough our President’s name is BUSH. Nasty.

 

So, until HooBoy or Cooper stop me, I am declaring Wednesday as PICTURE WEDNESDAY for now on! We can all use a little bit of Sazón! Every Wednesday I will try to post a picture (or 2 or 36) of a Gaiety performer. It may be a recent performer, a performer from the past or a retired performer. I sincerely hope message center members contribute any news, current events, musings, or other pictures regarding the PICTURE WEDNESDAY featured fellow. In addition, please share any fond memories of any quality time you had with the featured fellow.
