This is confirmed: Ben Versace, "Mr. Gaiety 2003", will be performing at the Gaiety for Valentines Day weekend, Friday Feb 13th to Sunday Feb 15th! He may be performing all that preceding week beginning Monday, Feb 9th. As they say, stay tuned to this thread for further information about the week day lineup but for sure Ben Versace will be dancing Valentines weekend. Confirmed that Ben Versace will be appearing all next week at the Gaiety from Monday afternoon Feb 9th through Sunday, Feb 15th.

 

Also confirmed: Marlone will be appearing at the Gaiety, Friday and Saturday nights of Valentines weekend.

Hopefully for my bed time reading tomorrow night I will be able to read a review of the Monday afternoon dancers, especially Ben Versace, Mr. Gaiety 2003!

 

I am very interested in this weeks lineup more than most weeks since I will be seeing them in person this coming weekend.

 

I prefer to read the review on this site then musclesvc. But since musclesvc has a new non-clown reviewer, the reviews are more interesting (more about the dancers and less about the reviewers' clown jokes).

I have only had the chance to talk to Ben V. briefly but I can second your comment on his expressive abilities. I ran into him on B'way about 2 am while going back to the W Times Square. I really enjoyed reading your diary of viewing Ben's performance and private with him. As you are probably aware, I am a big fan of Ben as the best male stripper in the country as well as being a really nice and good person.

 

I have seen Ben drive a large gay dance club of hot looking college age gay guys into a frenzy in Greensboro, NC. Dito for the patrons at Bourbon Street Pub in Key West, Madrigals Club and Cocktails in Chicago and NobHill Theatre in SF. I just had a really good weekend in NYC. I watched Ben perform 10 times this weekend and never got tired of seeing his creative and talented performance. Like you said, he has the beautiful proportioned, lean, muscled body that reminds one of the the ancient greek and roman statues of heros or male gods like Apollo or exactly like the beautiful Antinous (the beloved lover of the Emperor Hadrian).
