Ben Versace Return To Gaiety

This has been confirmed: Beginning this weekend for the next 10 days Ben Versace aka Dr. Versace will be returning to the Gaiety as headliner.

 

This much missed performer last appeared regularly in early December 2002 as Doctor Versace. He made a surprise appearance one Saturday night in early Feburary 2003 and had been sighted at the theatre in April. Ben is one of the best and sexy performers ever to appear at the Gaiety and this opportunity to see him perform should not be missed. He has a beautiful body and is also very friendly to talk to in the lounge.

When I was at the Gaiety on Thursday and heard that "maybe" Ben Versace would be in the weekend lineup, a big smile came to my face. Ben is a gifted and talented performer, who has a great future ahead of him. His stage shows are done to perfection and his choice of costumes is always priceless. Whether he be dressed as a sailor, doctor, or in a tuxedo, this guy always looks great... His friendliness is not only evident on stage, but carries over to the lounge. He's always surrounded by appreciative patrons... Ben is one of those dancers who's real easy to review, for he gives you so much good material to choose from. Agreed. Great guy. I remember how happy everyone was when he made his return after being hospitalized.

Hope this doesnt mean he's given up on doing the acting thing. Wasnt he supposedly staying away from Gaiety under advice from his agent?

When I saw this announcement, I was only moderately interested. I have seen Ben several times at the Gaiety and knew that he was showman. Well, I will say that tonight he was at his best. A great show, he really got into it and also got the crowd into it. (Except for the sleepy guy in the front row who wouldn't even look at him.) The Gaiety needed this shot in the butt from Dr. Versace! Two penises up!

How fortuitous... As NYO may recall Ben is one of my favorite performers. And it just so happens that I'll be in the Apple Tuesday and Wednesday and lurking at the Gaiety at least one of those days --probably both. Sorry Adam or whatever that twink was named won't be on the bill... he'd robablyh be on mine.

Ben Is an excellent entertainer and all around great guy. He

is not only very handsome but talented as well. I talked to him

in the lounge and find him to be one of the nicest guys to ever

dance at the Gaiety. I think he will do well as a professional actor.

I know of seceral dancers who work in professional male reviews and still act as well. These guys have done regular Films , comerials

and stage work , Striping has not hurt there acting career a bit. Provideing one does Not do Porn. I myself act and have studyed acting

I just finshed doing a one month run of a muscial. I Do hope Ben will come back to the Gaiety a few times a year. I know myself and others would love to see him, But no matter what he does I wish him

the very best , he is a great guy.
