I am very heavy hearted as I report that I was informed of the passing of popular Gaiety performer Andre. I do not know any of the details of this sad news, but will keep our community posted as I hear more. My thoughts are with his friends and family at this time of great sorrow.

Andre was a gentle giant of a man, very friendly, very outgoing, very big all over. He was one of the first African American performers I saw at The Gaiety and he adjusted to the harsh realities of people walking out in the middle of his shows and always made light of it. He was so upbeat, so personable, always smiling. While he wasn't the type of guy I would go crazy for sexually, he was one of the nicest men I had met at The Gaiety. I know all of the dancers used to love working with him, he was a very stable influence on them.

Andre used to always chat with me as he performed on stage, counting down the number of shows left in his week, always joking about it. He had this sweet smile and it was hard to believe someone so big could be so gentle and friendly.

Andre was probably best known at The Gaiety for his huge dick. He used to joke that people didn't come there to see him dance. Very true, but he also had a nice body and more importantly a winning personality. He didn't seem to be the hustler-type that so many of the Gaiety guys have become.

I will miss my friend Andre. May he rest in peace.

NYO and VDN, I join you and others in expressing my sympathy on the passing of Andre. Those of us who frequent the "G" have become the dancers family away from home. We talk with these guys, laugh with them, help them out, and write reviews on their shows. I will always remember this very tall muscular dancer, coming on stage with a big smile on his face and pounding that remarkable (always hard) cock (the size of a night stick) into his hand. Those of us who knew him were truly blessed. He showed us his warm/friendly personality both on and off the stage. "Andre the Giant", may you rest in peace.

I'm shocked and truly saddened especially since I was talking about him just a few days ago on this site and he's been on my mind. I suppose it's too much to hope that some kind of tribute to him will happen at the Gaiety. We'll just have to remember him in our hearts. He was too nice to go so soon but we always seem to lose the good ones in this world. I hope there will be more news. Thanks for letting us know.

Not being a regular at the Gaiety I only got to met and see Andre a few times. He was also know as Cory when he was a guest at Premier in Philadelphia. Andre was famous for that huge dick. But that wasn't his best asset. He had a killer smile that would light up a room. He wasn't at all jaded as so many of the Gaiety boys are, a truly nice man. He will truly be missed by all. As Mom used to say "only the good die young"

Andre look down on us and smile.

I've been receiving E-Mails all day from Andre's previous clients that saw him on his visits here at Premier in Philadelphia. This is the link to the Shocking news article from the Oakland Tribune about his death which was also posted on Muscle Service Station.
