Sorry you weren't able to join in our festive reception in the Apollo lounge that went on till about 3am. We all had a great time meeting and watching a spectacular strip show at the Gaiety. There were 14 in shape, gorgeous, hot, and friendly strip dancers ready to entertain us. Some of us even got "LUCKY" and had the pleasure of their company for an earth-shaking, "mamma mia" private... Good time had by all and we agreed that we should do this again in another year...PS...Everyone enjoyed the chips, pretzels, bread sticks, and punch!

HIJINX=FALLEN-ANGEL, Forgot to mention that there was a very handsome blond and blue eyed dancer name Angel asking for you. He said he wanted you to help him join the ranks of the "fallen angels". He'll be there tonight if you're interested.:9

This is a blast from the past---a vintage NY Observer review of the Gaiety. It was early Nov 2002 that I first found out about and visited this site as a lurker.

 

Anyone remember Marco who danced at the Gaiety at that time? He was fun to talk to in the lounge.

 

This review does not have the awards that were a regular of earlier NY Observer reviews.

 

Maybe it can occur that Denise resurrects a new version of the Gaiety in Greenwich Village or Chelsea area. One can only hope.

 

Anyway, thanks NY Observer for the dedicated Gaiety reviews. It is much appreciated by many who followed this site at that time!
