Are any other AOL users having problems accessing the site tonite using their built-in browser? After no problems EVER before, about an hour ago, I couldn't access the site using my AOL Favorite Places link. However, I have no probs using IE. Interestingly, I have the same prob with the "brand X" site. No other XXX sites seem to be affected by this newest AOL "block." Any thoughts? :-( Is it the word, "escort"?

Try again tomorrow. I had trouble getting to the site all evening from a non-AOL location. Any number of factors could cause this, from site problems to routing problems to gremlins.

Well, today it's just this site that I can't access through my AOL browser. Anyone else having the same problem?

Last night around midnight, I got a "can't find website" when trying to access this site and again this morning. I also thought it might be AOL-related, but am on the computer here at the gym on AOL and had no problem. Wonder what was up?

Yeah, it's fine now. Glad you got those nasty DNS problems solved (whatever they are). }(

DNS is what turns "www.male4malescorts.com" to 207.14.53.20 which is the computer's address. Think of it as calling directory service to get a phone number.

I upgraded both the hardware and software on the primary DNS server so we'd get a little more speed. That took about 5 hours. During the upgrade we was running on the backup server. After four hours it tried to ask the primary server for an update on what was the current addresses, and couldn't connect (i.e. The phone was never answered), and started telling everybody "Sorry, no listing".

I've changed the 2nd and 3rd servers, to ALWAYS know the most important numbers 'cause they rarely change, so the problem should not reappear. The primary server is back in the water, and has updated the 2nd and 3rd servers so that all are in sync again.

Now mind you, I'm still upgrading hardware/software and so we'll have some more ups and downs as I bring in more horsepower. When I upgrade the website, it'll be down for somewhere between 4-8 hours. Mostly like this'll happen this weekend.

Daddy,

As someone who owns a few websites, I know what a pain in the ass they can be. You and Hoo do a great job with this site and I am always amazed at how you keep it up and running. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!

Naturally, I cannot thank Daddy enough, but I also want to let the sponsors who pay on time and the people who donate money to this site that it really helps a lot and makes Daddy very, very happy when HooBoy pays his bills on time.

And now, we'll pass the offering plate.

Remember, I am more popular than John Lennon....:+ }(

Hoo, I looked the other day but could not find a way for mere mortals to toss a few sheckels in the plate. Now that PayPal dropped support for adult sites, what's the mechanism. I've been meaning to send you a bright, shiny, new nickel (plus a multiplier) for a while now but don't know how and keep forgetting to ask.

So I'm asking...

Thank you...

There is a link at the top of the page called "HooBoy's Donation Page."

The Yahoo thing is a pain in the butt to sign up to, but they are backed by HSBC, a reputable bank, not eBay, the owner of Papal, or other such potential scams but they have been working really well for me.

Just remember it's bankers that MAY read any messages you send in your messages...so try and keep anything to the subject of the page.

:)
