Montreal hustler scene.

Most of the posts about Montreal are at least a year old. Any information that's a little more up to date about the hustler scene in Montreal would be appreciated. This would include bars as well as the street scene. Thanks.

I was in Montreal in May, and while I did not partake in any of the hustlers, I did encounter a few while there.. In the adult video "store" further down Ste. Catherine, past the Guv, there were very obvious hustlers... they were offering anything from 20$ blows in the cubicles, to going back to your hotel. The guys (more men than boys) that I saw there were rather rough looking. Also, late at night, early morning, there were some hustlers hanging around outside the bourbon complex and the Oasis Sauna area. One boy (probably 20-ish) I saw both early Saturday morning around 5am when I left the sauna, and again that Night around 9pm.. He appeared clean, had different clothes on the second time. I was tempted to partake, but was nervous taking him back to my hotel with all my belongings and the only place he could suggest was a doorstoop nearby. Then on Sunday nite, I was sitting in taboo and a couple of great varying ages sat at the table next to me.. the younger one was early twenties, the older gentleman was at least 65. After a half hour, the younger guy left.. I ended up leaving the bar about 45 minutes later, and as I was walking down Ste. Catherine, the younger guy from taboo approached me and asked if I wanted some company.. At first I got all excited, thinking he was interested in me.. but upon further questioning, he was looking to play for pay.. So I politely refused and continued on my walk.. Hope this helps you. ohhhh. and also.. not exactly hustlers.. but I did have several dancers from around the clubs offer to come back to my hotel.. usually for around 200$. and if you pick up any of the many gay magazines/newpapers around the village, there are escort ads and agencies listed.. From what I hear, the Hot Boys Agencies is the best and most reputable.

I agree with the last poster. I was there in mid April. I posted a rather extensive message in April but it seems to have disappeared in the recent crash.

 

You will encounter hustlers all up and down Ste. Catherine between Blvd. St. Laurent and Rue Papineau where Taboo is located. Just make eye contact with the passing young men.

 

Best place, in quantity, is the entire block around the Hotel Bourbon complex, including Charles Campbell park directly behind the hotel. The Hotel is on Ste. Catherine, between Rue Alexandre De Seve and Rue de Champlain. Be careful of the park after its posted closing time. I understand there have been arrests there for violation of the bylaws, not for prostitution. I would say that there were, over the course of a week, about 30 or more hustlers in that area, some there frequently, others there only once.

 

The bar in the Hotel Boubon, Trax, had two hustlers in there one evening. I understand that the bars across the street near Adonis may have hustlers, but can't confirm that.

 

The Peep Show a couple blocks east of the Hotel Gouverneur and next to a Dunkin Donuts used to be very, very active. This last time it was hit and miss, usually no one working there, maybe three or four hustlers the entire week.

 

The video arcade on Ste. Elisabeth and Ste. Catherine was the most active I found, often several during the afternoon. The other arcades around Blvd. St. Laurent appeared to be dead.

 

I never saw anyone hustling who appeared to be underage. Most were in ther 20's, some maybe late teens, some older than 30. Not the quality of a few years ago. Some were very scary. Only of few of the street hustlers were suitable for taking to your hotel. Many appear to have drug problems. Quelle suprise!

 

You can rent rooms by the hour ($25) at both Hotel Dorian and Hotel Bourbon. I recommend the Dorian. I do not recommend the Bourbon. I have heard many people take the hustlers to one of the many baths in the area. At the Dorian the desk clerk will let you now if your hustler is trouble.

 

I have seen on the internet that there are hustlers working in WEGA Video. I have no infornmation about that.

 

In my experience, dancers at the strip clubs are not hustlers for the most part. I defer to those who have arranged dates with the dancers. I'm sure the dancers charge far more than the street hustlers.

 

I never paid a hustler more than $40 cdn, and most of the booksore hustlers will go for around $20-30. The experience varies tremendously at that price. I had some excellent times and some very disappointing times.

 

I have also heard the Hot Boys Agency is very good. I did not call, but I wish I had tried it out. I will next trip.
