Wondering if anyone has updated info on street hustlers/escorts on Santa Monica Blvd. or other streets in and around Weho and L.A. Any specific guys that might be recommended?

Seems as if they are still working the Blvd. Though the selection is not so great these days. The crack hustlers tend to be east of Highland while the almost on crack guys still hang out west of Highland.

That it has deteriorated due to increased police patrols and a lot of street repair work, there can be do doubt, but hustlers have not disappeared from the boulevard. And there are still some nice, cute guys working the street. Better to go during the day, when you can get a good look at the guys. But sometimes, you might have to pass by a few times, go get a cup of coffee, then pass a few times again to find someone cute, clean and not totally drugged out. They're there, but not as many and it takes work to ferret them out.

I was just in LA and noticed that the street trade is all but gone, except some 14 or 15 year old boys. The fact that 1/2 of Santa Monica Blvd. is currently GONE might have something to do with it.

I'm an author working on a book about men in the sex industry, and I'm finding that street hustlers are the hardest part of the market to get information on. Is there anyone out there who has participated in the street scene-- as either a buyer or a seller-- who would be willing to sit down and tell me about their experiences? There ain't shit going on in Weho. Back in the 80s and 90s, it was pretty cool, but now it's all junkies and queens. I live pretty close to the area and am constantly amazed at how pathetic it is. Has anyone had any good experiences with hustlers down there lately?

During the cooler winter season, the hustler tend to stay indoors these days at Numbers in West Hollywood. The bar looks like a who's who of boys that belong on the corner of Santa Monica and Highland.

I agree, because of the street 'repair' on Santa Monica Bl.- things are dead. Except at around 2am between Vista & La Brea- if you are into transvestites.

*There is one true blue street hustler that is STILL out on Sta. Monica, as he has been for years. MOSES is his name- he is out on weekdays, during the day- between 11am to 4pm, and on weekends at night- 5pm to 1am. If you like BIG, black- THICK dick- Moses is your man. He wears either lycra shorts or pants- he is a big guy, black, and walks the boulevard. He LOVES to have his 10+' THICK dick sucked- and if you can handle it, he will fuck you- all for around $50-, a little more or a little less sometimes. Watch for him- you can't miss him- while walking Sta. Monica Bl.- he is ALWAYS displaying that HUGE DICK of his through that lycra-wear!

Disney Hustler Park

 

Pity I missed Moses, but I have been in LA a couple of times in the past year and I totally agree the whole scene has died. It died about 5 years ago, and now is OFFICIALLY DEAD. Numbers is also pretty dead. My last few visits, there were few working men of any note there. And that other hustler bar on Santa Monica, a place I never could stand, what was it called??? HELP???, on the north side, just east of the Pleasure Chest, well do not worry it too is closed.

 

I have many fond memories, but that is what they are. Classified ads, and the web have replaced the street! This has lead to increased costs, and less impulse shopping.

 

LA is not alone, most stolls have also disappeared. This has all happened in the last few years. It would be interesting to see the topics on police conventions over this period of time to see if there is a correlation.

 

Frankly, I am at the age where it does not matter anymore. I have done it all, and am now prepared to order in whenever I need to. It is less exciting than the conquest on the streets, and it not always gives you what you want.

 

My fantasy would be for Disney to open a hustler park where we could cruise in security with farm bred hitchikers waiting and wanting to jump into your car with you. Of course, there would have to be take out service or cheap motels throughout the park. Someday!!!!

The missing bar was called Hunter's. Most of that crowd now inhabits The Spotlight up in Hollywood. It has been a hustle bar for as long as I can remember(which is a pretty long time), but for some reason it never gets mentioned in this thread. Guess it is too dicey for most folks, but I always strike gold there on my visits to LaLaLand.

 

I think the strolls are no longer very active because HIV killed off a generation of hustlers and johns. On the heels of that disaster CRACK COCAINE became the drug of choice for street hustlers, rendering most of them pretty useless. Either they are so eager to get the money and go buy some drugs that the sex is just incidental, or it becomes necessary to let them use during the scene. At that point 99% of them eat up the time spent together geeking (being insanely paranoid) and can't concentrate on sex. It is not a pretty picture, but the days when selling dick on the street was almost a rite of passage for a certain segment of society are mostly dead and gone. Still, I persist in my quest for street meat, and I still manage to meet some hot (and nice too) guys as I prowl around this land. Most folks probably don't want to deal with the stress of dealing with this element when the classifieds and the internet are full of ads from more professional (middle class) hookers.

The stroll may haved slowed to a crawl, but it is still very much alive. The action has shifted hurther East and and requires a fair amount of patience. I am always rewarded with a sweet young man! Now for the guy who mentioned Moses. What the FUCK are you talking about? The worn out nasty thing has been limping up and down the blvd. for years now. As ugly and nasty as he is I have always wondered why anyone would pick him up. I guess it takes all kinds out there.

Action is centered between Western and aboy two blocks west of Vine. That street is cuyunga? (butchered the spelling)

From as far east as Western Avenue to Fuller Avenue on the west, Santa Monica Blvd. is definitely filled with hustlers. The action pretty much starts very early at around 4:30 PM for the afternoon commute until the an hour after the bar closes at 3 AM. Fridays and Saturday nights have heavy traffic due to the numerous clubs especially after 9 PM.

 

Beware of the police station north of the strip at Wilcox though. Ask to see the hustler's cock and show your's to prove you're not one of the vice cops. Kissing a prospective is another way to screen out the authorities.

 

If you feel comfortable doing it in your car, don't park around Santa Monica. Instead, go down south to Melrose or Beverly and definitely avoid Sunset Blvd. The motels along Sunset though are generally cool. Circle around a few times after you pick up a guy just to make sure you're not being followed.

The epicenter of the action is around the Circus of Books on the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Sanborn Ave., where Santa Monica Blvd. ends. Most of the action takes place around 2am when the nearby leather bars and Circus of Books closes, but it starts earlier on weekend nights at around 11pm.

 

Along parallel streets of Hyperion Blvd. and Griffith Park Blvd., there's definitely nightly cruising until the dawn as well. The cruising area is marked by Sunset Blvd. to the west and Mayfair market toward the east. Be careful though, there's several warning signs regarding cruising so watch your rearview mirror for police cars.

Silver Lake

 

The Silver Lake scene is strictly cruising with hardly any hustlers. Most of the cruising is on Griffith Park Blvd. despite the warning signs. The corner of Hyperion and Lyric is a hotspot as well as Sanborn between Sunset and Effie.
