I am not sure what you mean by satire, in this case, but you might check out Donna Barr's "Desert Peach". A very droll comic book featuring Erwin Rommell's gay brother.

What sort of comics are you familiar with that you like? It makes recommendations a lot easier. My first question to a comic customer in my shop is "What do you read?".

"Love is the only thing that makes things one without destroying them." Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Hmm - when you ask about gay comics I'm not sure whether you mean comedians - as in "standup comic" - or comic books or comic strips.

If it's the latter, then one of my favorites is Eric Orner's "mostly unfabulous" (but very funny) Ethan Green which can be found at:

(the genre is more "wry humor" than "satire", though)

On the broader topic of gay humor in general I really like Michael Thomas Ford's work. If you haven't done so already you really should check him out. Two of my favorites are:

"That's Mr. Faggot to You : Further Trials from My Queer Life"

and

"It's Not Mean If It's True"

Sorry guys I worded my original post incorrect. I meant comedians not comic books. Though, it was interesting to see there are a few comic books that have gay content.

The president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, Tom Ammiano, is out, gay, used to do Stand-up-comedy frequently, and does occasional guest appearances.

While some people of the politically conservative persuasion may find his politics a satirical joke (even to a bleeding-heart-liberal, such as myself, I find his positions sometimes unrealistic), his humor is generally pointed-without-being-cruel . If you have the chance, you should hear him.

What about the guy who played Charlotte's wedding planner (and later on Stanford's blind date) on Sex in the City? I forget his name, but I saw an advertisement for his show at a comedy club recently. I think that he might be gay. ;)

I just saw Margaret Cho last night and as she puts it “she’ll eat pussy if she can’t get what she really wants.” She also admits to being fisted by a very short dyke. Don’t know how much is true and how much is part of the act, but she is one nasty lady on stage. At heart…she’s a gay man. No wonder the boys love her so.

Well, lessee ... in addition to the others named in this thread...

Bruce Vilanch is as out as can be. He emcees at gay porn awards shows, fer goodness sake.

Lily Tomlin finally made it official a few years ago, I think.

The rumors about Rosie O'Donnell are persistent.

One of Billy Masters' blind items not long ago was about a comic appearing in Boston who was cruising guys at a leather bar. The concensus seemed to point to Joe Rogan.
