Foreplay and Sex

Just an idle curiosity, but when does foreplay end and actual sex begin? What is foreplay? What is actual sex? Is it possible to engage in foreplay only without ending in sex? Or is it called something else then? Do any of you subscribe to the notion that "it isn't sex until somebody gets something up the butt?

I think most guys would say that foreplay is cuddling,kissing,etc.. Sex is oral and anal.

Of course I like this definition also..

Foreplay only applies to females. With guys, it's always sex right from the start.

There are two definitions:

(1) My definition/often accepted: one partner's penis enters the other's mouth, vagina, or anus.

(2) Bill Clinton's/legal: one partner's penis enters the other's vagina or anus.

 

I would say that for women, one would have to include some other form of vaginal penetration, probably tongue or dildo, maybe finger.
