Your password is one of the following:

- same as your account name

- a word found in the dictionary

- any of the above + a single digit number appended at the end (ex: tommy5)

Your PIN number is one of the following:

- your birth day/month, month/year or year;

- Another significant date, as above (ex: date of your divorce)

- last four digits of your phone number (home, office, or cell)

- last four digits of your SSN

- street number for your home address

- Any of the above backwards- Any of the above for child or spouse

RE: Occupation and Free $$$$ Advice

I'm not quite willing to disclose my profession of the past 20 years (don't want to reveal too much about me). ;-)

But here's an look at my unrelated past jobs. [ol]

[li]Served aboard a nuclear submarine

[li]Dental Technican (made false teeth)

[li]Sign language interpreter for the deaf in college classes and for the courts [/ol]

Now for the free advice. [ol]

[li]Pay cash for everything and stay out of debt. (It increases your flexibility and allows you to work for the pleasure of the job and not for the money.)

[li]Don't be afraid to take risks such as relocating for a better opportunity or more challenging position.

[li]Contribute the maximum amount to your 401K or retirement program.

We have learned alot about each other through the Message Center. I was wondering ...What is everyones occupation?? I am sure we will find a few surprises:-) After you tell us your Occupation give us some free advice..a benifit of comming to the Message Center.

I'll start first..I am in the Optical field..I have been in it for the last 5yrs. Very interesting..

Free Advice..

Never buy those over-the-counter reading glasses unless a doctor tells you too..That is also if you have the same RX in both eyes and no astigmatism. The reason is none of those cheap readers account for astigmatism. Many of my patients complain about headaches and their vision getting worse.

Get your eyes checked every 1 1/2 yrs to 2 yrs. Even if your RX doesn't change it is always good because a routine eye exam can let you know if you show signs a Glaucoma. If it is caught early the symptoms can be treated.

Glare Free, Invisibles, Anti Reflective Lenses are good for those who use the computer alot, read, drive at night (reduces the glare from oncomming headlights.) They reflect the Uv rays . Though they are hard to keep clean..I can't live without mine.

Polarized lenses are the best Sunglass lenses around..Revo, Maui Jim, Persol...some of the best..

There I hope that helps some of you.. Any questions post them and I will try to answer.

Occupation:

I am a poodle groomer, and International Jewel Thief.

Free Advice:

Don't get a poodle for a pet. They are one sorry example for a dog.

Don't buy memberships to Red Carpet and Admiral Clubs. The padded seats in the lounge don't justify the annual cost. They never have chocolates for snacks, it is always pretzels or peanuts.

Never do an out-of-plane burn if you are low on gas...

Never do a retro burn if you want to go up... or stay up!

In an uncontrolled descent, bail out BEFORE impact!

RE: Occupation WHAT A COINCIDENCE

Wow, what a coincidence...

I just happen to be a psychic optician for poodle grooming aerospace engineers aboard a Nuclear Sub requiring sign language interpreters.

Small world! ;)

In all seriousness...can't reveal what profession even in generalities, as I keep my two lives very separate. (or at least I try to) Hmm...maybe my past jobs won't reveal too much about my other life...(used to be a pasta maker, newspaper delivery person, and a library paige...hmm, is that how u spell that?)

Advice? Hmmm...let me get back to you on that.....have I really lived long enough to administer advice? hehehehe

TY,

I am now more worried about air travel...

What is the Vne and maximum G for a large airliner, such as the flight that crashed in PA?

Can control surfaces be rendered useless if past Vne, such that a pilot could still pull out of a rapid descent?

I am not a terribly smart man, but I don't believe you. I have reliable sources that said you are a male escort. You cannot fool me :)
