Can anyone recommend a good masseur in Montreal? The erotic/sensual aspect is important to me -- but even more important is whether he can give a good massage.

Montreal looks like one of the best places for a massage. There are plenty to choose from and they are cheap (US$30-60). The ones I visited were in located in the Village.

 

Many masseurs and escorts are listed in the back of Fugue magazine which is available everywhere in the gay Village. Last week, I visited three masseurs and one escort during my first trip to Montreal

 

The escort was Ronielle, a muscular part Asian, who only charged CAN$100 or about US$75 for an hour. He was very good. He has a big advert with a color photograph in Fugue. I could fuck him or he would fuck me, but he would not cum.

 

The first masseur was Steve (Zen massage) at 999 8959. He is young, big tatoo on his arm, thin but muscular, and a nice guy. He offered a non-sexual massage for CAN$50 or an erotic massage for CAN$80. I took the erotic massage and it was very good. He did it in the

nude, had a constant and large hardon, really got me excited, and seemed excited himself. He liked to kiss and I sucked him. I am not young or in good shape and thus for someone to get excited is a rarety for me.

 

The second was Bryan (Island Massage at 526 9776). I noticed his ad in Fugue because he was so cheap (CAN$35 or about US$25). He was young and thin but not very muscular. He also offers a body to body

massage for CAN$50. I took the regular but it turned into a good erotic massage. I gave him $50 because $35 seemed so cheap.

 

The third was Sheldon (830 3185) who also has an ad in Fugue. He is a large heavy black man. He charged CAN$60 for a regular massage. He did not offer and I did not ask if he gave an erotic massage. His massage style was different from most others that I have had and was certainly very good.

schools and massage workshops thus cranking out many Massage therapist with very liitle training, one can find a good massage therapist but one has to look and shop around or just get lucky.

jay, I appreciate this information as I'm a frequent visitor to Montreal. I agree that it's difficult to find a good masseur around the Ste. Catherine's area, especially when you really need one.

I have no way of knowing whether you give a good massage but I don't buy your statement that it is hard to get a good massage in Montreal. If one wants, one can find a masseur (or masseuse for that matter) who has been in the business a long time and has excellent qualifications. Masseurs are not limited to the Village area and even there there are lots who only give excellent non-sexual massages.

 

I have lived part-time for the last 7 years in the Village and even before that visited frequently each year and have a wealth of experience with Montreal masseurs. I have been with all of the ones sited in a post above plus Ronielle, who incidently, gives a wonderful sports massage as well as great sex. By way of comparison, I have also had massages (erotic and otherwise) in many other North American cities and in Europe and South America and the quality in Montreal compares with anything I have found abroad.

 

When I went to Steve I wasn't aware he gave sexual massages but that day I was only looking for a good non-sexual one and he delivered. Sheldon also gave a good massage but I wouldn't repeat with him because he is too fat (no other way of putting it) for my tastes. I have been to Bryan maybe half a dozen times over the years and he gives the whole package, including oral and anal.

 

Basically you can find any kind of massage you want but I do agree when you look in the erotic section of Fugues (the gay magazine) some of the guys are more erotic than massage technique. Of course, when I choose there I am looking for the sexual component and (hopefully) a decent massage as well. ww2 graciously shared a prepublication version of his posting with me just before I left for Montreal a week ago, and I can now add my own impressions to his. (I also just read Luv2play’s comments and they are consistent with my experience; I too disagree emphatically with jaynnj’s statement that it is hard to get a good massage in Montreal.)

 

Of the masseurs ww2 discussed, I decided not to contact Ronielle; since the erotic part of the experience was secondary to the massage for me, his escort services were not worth the extra cost. He was, however, also highly recommended to me by another Montreal resident, so I would not hesitate to use him if I were interested in his mix of services. He is reviewed on this site.

 

I wasn’t able to make contact with Steve, my first choice, until mid-day on Tuesday, and set up a session for his first open time on Thursday afternoon. I managed to reach Bryan the next morning and see him that same afternoon (Wednesday).

 

Bryan’s studio is small, just a room in an apartment (house?) he shares with others, with the bathroom down the hall. It’s not far from Taboo. His massage was competent, and he chatted about his participation in theater and web design while he worked. He has a nice, compact body, and handled the erotic embellishments well. He does have a slightly strange pronunciation and intonation (not a foreign accent). I cut him short and told him that the massage was the most important thing for me, too.

 

He was super. I don't think Bryan fits the description of a twink, he is simply too old for that (north of 30). Of the masseurs listed in the "massage" section of Fugues (these guys give erotic massages and are different in theory from those listed in the "massotherapie" section (altho as has been pointed out, some in the latter category also offer release as an option)), only one I have tried might fit the description and that is Angelo. The problem with him is that he has a motor mouth and he goes on endlessly about the most trivial details of his life during the entire massage (I'm too polite to tell someone to just shut up). I had 2 sessions with Steve during my recent trip to Montreal, and I continue to recommend him enthusiastically. His massage technique, a mix of long strokes, hard and soft kneading and various other touches (sorry I don’t know all the technical terminology), is both healing and sensual, and the erotic part was different each time, but always highly charged.

 

A second massage experience didn’t turn out as well. I could not resist the self-description of Jonathan, who advertised in the erotic massage section of Fugues. I should have known better. I arrived in his apartment to find music playing and porno videos on the large-screen TV; a towel was laid out for me on the floor. He took off his clothes, told me to take off mine, and got right down to business. He had no more massage training than I have. The whole thing, including, I will admit, a satisfying, if mechanical, “release”, took about 40 minutes, which worked out to a dollar a minute. Jonathan might be a quick solution for someone feeling unbearably horny after spending time in the back with the Campus dancers, but he works only between 10 am and 5 pm. Not recommended.

 

For the sake of variety, I would like to learn of other masseurs in Montreal like Steve who provide the full package at a high level. Do the locals have any suggestions?
