I've tried it a couple of times, lowering dose seems to help with the side effects, sinus congestion and flushing and headache. But although it helps me get hard, it doesn't seem to help get me to orgasm, in fact it almost seems like it makes it harder to get there. Since I generally don't have a problem getting it up, just looking at a hot muscular well equipped guy works wonders, I seldom partake.

I am a regular user, buy the 100mg, and cut into 3 pieces, which seems to work as well. I CHEW the pill and let it absorb under the tongue, then rinse it down with water or beer. It seems to start working 1n 10 (to 15) minutes. Give it a try. If someone else has posted this, my apologies. I had an escort who needed 'Help" and with him it seemed to work in 5 min.

Interesting... Don't know how sublingual absorption explains your success though. Absorption of substances through the oral mucosa membranes is dependent on the molecular structure of the substance. I'd expect that if the molecular stucture of Viagra was such then there would be common instructions for sublingual dosing -- there are not as far as I know.

Sublingual delivery usually is much superior to oral ingestion because, in the vast majority of instances, the digestive process destroys much if not most of the substance. Next the liver as has go at cracking into oblivion the remaining intact substance before sending what little survives to the rest of the body. There are a few substances which may be enhanced by these processes but they are few and far between and ususally designed when possible for this. Thus sublingual absorption is usually vastly superior when possible. How could Pfizer have missed this??

JT, any comments??

I tried vitamin V a couple of times. I did half of a 100mg (50mg).

It worked quite well, in fact, I was bit sore down there.

Side effect for me was flushed face, sinus congestion, and general headache. Is just the "bad" that comes with the "good"? Not sure it was worth the side effects for me. I tried to adjust to 25mg, and much the same.

Tried maybe 5 times: ditto to above, but blocked sinuses with headache the next day; very similar to a hangover, and I hadn't drunk anything.

Yuuuuchh! x(

It's so bitter!

I've tried it a half dozen times over in the last couple years and even just biting the 100s in two is hard to do because of the taste. Can't imagine chewing it...

Also, V makes it hard all right, but it desensitizes the head. In fact it makes my dickhead feel cold! Has any one else had that result?

Overall, I wouldn't recommend it unless it was absolutely necessary.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone

Actually, it's similar to nitroglycerine in that respect (due to the vasodilation): "Not tonight dear, I'll have a headache..."

It works better and quicker if it is taken on an empty stomach, and if it is chewed or broken before swallowing. I read a short article which stated that there was evidence that it becomes less effective with use so it is best not to use it if not necessary. The study said the decrease in effectiveness did not depend on frequency but total lifetime use. If also have noticed that it seems harder to come to orgasm with Viagra.

How could Pfizer have missed this??

Maybe they didn't. Maybe they were unable to develop a succesful mask of the bitter taste without affecting the sublingual absorption process. ( ??) I suspect that taste might be an issue for a product release of this sort
