Hi guys. I have been "lurking" anonymously here for a long time but only today have gotten the courage to go sign on and post. I have been moved to do this because I have an embarassing question and I really don't have anyone to ask. I have been hiring escorts for a few months, and these have been my only sexual contacts in recent months. Not long ago, I developed what seems to be my first case of crab lice. I have used the over the counter treatments, and they seem to have worked. My question: should I contact any escort who might have been the source of this? Should I contact any escort that I might have passed it on to? And, should I tell any escort that I am thinking of hiring about this? As I read this, I realize that this probably sounds really basic and stupid to you guys with a lot more experience than me. I've just never been in this situation before and don't really have anyone that I would feel comfortable talking to about this, since I just recently moved to a new area because of work, and don't know anyone.

Hey Jazzman,

Don't feel embarrassed, bud. There's nothing to be embarrassed about. Shit happens. It's probably embarrassing and if you feel the need to contact the escorts you might have given it to or recieved it from then that would show a great deal of good character on your part. Its good that you have it cleared up though. I am sure the escorts will be as just as understanding.

By now the escort from whom you got it must be aware of the lice, though he may not have known about them if he had contracted them very recently before his encounter with you. I would call him, and if he doesn't at least offer an apology, or outright denies it, then I would write him off permanently for future encounters; I would also include that little detail in a review (or a post here). If you think you passed them on to another escort, I would call him and apologize, since he is probably wondering where he got them, and may already be suspicious of you.

Unfortunately, parasites happen to the best of us, but we should be civilized about informing our contacts.
