>I fart all the time. Sometimes I get really constipated

>too.

Yeah - but the point is, you don't engage in such activities at the Marriott. The possibility that you may have to do so is downright frightening.

>Both hotels have a significant history in Canada.

It's outright depraved to use the word "significant" to describe anything in Canada.

>It would be the equivalent of

>turning the St. Louis Arch into a Starbucks, and you don't

>want that do you pudwack?

I can't really say that if the St. Louis Arch were turned into a Starbucks, America would have suffered a grievous lost.

And - after certain people pointed out how petty and effete your concerns were, weren't you the one who pretended that what you were really lamenting was the loss of jobs for the poor employees? If so, you should want to see coffee sold at that stupid Arch, and should want to see the Fairmonts turned into big Hilton chains -- that way, more jobs would be created, and there would be prosperity for all of those nice hourly workers about whom you are so concerned.

<I'm a top.>

Yes, yes - of course you are.

Farting in a Marriot is redundant.

I can't believe you just said that! :p

The point, pudwack, is that both Hotels are important landmarks. Anyway, my orginal post was pretty fucking tongue in cheek. It's you, pudwack, and IM_MOOR that are behaving as if I claimed that losing these hotels is the equivalent of placing the tours of Auschwitz in Disney's hands. They are two great hotels. I had fun. Banff is beautiful, all should visit. You'd never know because you're to ashamed of Canada to visit.

No, that was SoccerStud who pretended. Do your research pudwack.

This is Candada I'm talking about Pudwack. Therefore these are full time employees with benefits (or at least they were).

Your mistake, Trav. The fact is I have software that automatically alerts me whenever a thread, whatever its original subject, turns nasty. It is a great convenience for me. I'm afraid I can't share it with you, however. It's proprietary.

I've also been to both Chateau Lake Louise and the Banff Springs Hotel. I was 16 years old and I was with my family. We didn't stay in either hotel...we stayed in a campground(5 kids,mom/dad)in our 8 person motorhome. But, we did walk through the lobbies of both hotels

and they were absolutely beautiful. Chateau Lake Louise made a real

impression on one of my brothers, he went there on his honeymoon.

I really think Rod was just saying that it would be a shame for such

landmark hotels to become part of a chain and possibly lose some of their unique character.

Finally, the grand wizard of consistency, TruthTeller is hoisted on his own petard. Of all the contributors here, who is more "petty and effete" with his general attitude toward others than Truthteller himself? Of course, in vain he attempts to lay this off on "certain people" but he himself is the one that chooses to accentuate it by his remarks, and now we see it's just another instance of "the pot calling the kettle black". What a hypocrite! There's a big chink in the armor of your delusions of grandeur, and the haughty air of superiority you that has become your trademark here. The truth about "TruthTeller" is out!

I Love This Message Center!

You guys have John & I howling with laughter so early in the morning. The original post concerned tourism & now its disintegrated into another classic "GET HER!" session. Keep up the good work! I love it!

RE: Tone Deaf?

I often suggest that everyone read the Griffin trilogy by Mercedes Lackey, paying particular attention to the kestrachern, his job, his place in society, etc. Is it finally time again for one of our book list threads??:D

HEY HEY HEY

ok you can cut up everyone and everything, but my maple leaf waving, beaver worshipping, hockey playing, frozen tundra is off limits.

Don't fuck with us... or we won't supply anymore comedians, or access points for drugs and terrorists to you yanks.

and by the way. The hotels were originally part of Canadian Pacific hotels... now owned by the fairmont peoples.

did you know the oldest company in the world is the Hudsons Bay?? huhuhuhuh??? single handedly pioneered the west of Canada, in order to kill those bucky beavers for trade, to make top hats and shit: ) AHHHHH I'm proud of my roots.

Actually, for us hockey-loving Canadians, the word for "jerkoff" is "PuckWack"! And yeah, we do play with our "sticks".

Thanks Rod!

For sharing you're fabulous visit to Chateau Lake Louise...truly one of the most

beautiful in the world.

PS: I'm advoiding the controversy on this thread but must say that a

hot, intelligent and popular escort like yourself knows more about hotel quality than most of us.(Cums with the job):9

In fact it might make a good travel book.

Take care, Les

:D

It may help you to write more interesting and relevant posts if you first get up off your knees, and put your dog-like panting tongue back in your mouth, before writing.
