Rio vs. Madrid

Thanks to the Madrileno (sorry, the tilde key on this keyboard is stuck) who posted on his experiences in the Rio saunas and for his interesting comparison with the Madrid scene.

 

My own experiences in Madrid were less thrilling. Perhaps I just hit the saunas there on the wrong day/time. At both Adan and Plaza, there were hardly any guys there during my visits, and few clients, also. Compared to the saunas in Brazil (or the Thermas Barcelona) I found the Madrid establishments kind of outdated, a bit shabby, and, in the case of Adan, dark and not spotlessly clean. None of the guys at Adan interested me the night I went. At Plaza, there was one skinny, sort of homely kid who was sporting an impressive whopper, but he went off with a client and then started getting dressed and went home before I could sample his goodies. As for the size comparison, of course not every sauna boy in Brazil is hung to his knees, but there are an amazing number of very big guys, indeed, and I'm surprised our visiting Madrileno didn't run into them.

 

From what Ariel wrote in his review, it seems that better experiences can be had in Madrid than my own. I hope Ariel will supplement his review by posting here the best days and times to go to the Madrid saunas. There's certainly no question that Madrid features a variety of guys from different countries and that size queens can be very happy there, based on my own experience picking up a very handsome and hung Venezuelan guy at Black & White and by browsing Madrid escort sites, like Arrow Men. Of course, Madrid is one of the world's great cities and ALWAYS worth visiting (even if it didn't have escorts) for its breathtaking art museums, the historic attractions, the outstanding gay scene, knock-out night life, etc.

My experience with Madrid saunas was that Barcelona and Rio have better ones! The Adan is dumpy, but my friends tell me the coke there is top quality.

Plaza was dumpy and had too many rip-off guys.
