Gentlemen,

As I said on the 27th of November: "I will delete any more off topic posts to this thread". As a reminder this is the "Escorts South of the USA" forum and this thread is "Overpaying (Reprised) - PLEASE DON'T"

If you simply going to dish each other, PLEASE take it to the Lobby where it belongs. If this continues, I will lock the thread(s) down.

People that consistantly refuse to comply with the posting guide lines WILL be sanctioned.

I don't want to seem anti-American because I think Americans are in general rather generous and hospitable, but....I do think overpaying shows a lack of respect for local customs and local values.

I have seen this phenomenon before (in the UK and in South Africa) and it does tend to irritate the local customers. It leads to escorts expecting a bonus from foreigners everytime, so it becomes part of the "going rate".

As others have noted, this rarely seems to occur in countries with currencies that are strong versus the Dollar. And too often, I believe, what starts as generosity is seen locally as being contemptuous.

Again, the tourist are unfair when they spoil the local balance, also because they don't consider the influence of being just on holidays.

On holidays the perception of reality is often distorted, easier, and anyway, even if we do mistake, then we go back home. That's the reason why many tourist prefer to indulge on sudden pleasures and satisfaction and miss the opportunity to get responsabilized of their acting.

But the mistake become evident for they who come after.
