I'm a frequent reader of this board, and I just want to give a big THANK YOU to Trilingual for his many very informative posts. I've never been to Brazil, but after reading Tri's wonderful posts, I'm very seriously considering taking the Brazilian bath house plunge!

 

I travel to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic quite frequently and have posted info on this board about that lovely Caribbean Island. So in keeping with the spirit of Trilingual, if anyone has any questions about the Dominican Republic, feel free to ask, and I'll tell you what I know.

 

But the main reason for my post here is just to acknowledge and thank Trilingual for his tireless efforts at keeping everying well informed of the scene in Brazil. I would venture to say he's the best resource this board has. Now that's just my opinion. I can just feel the M4M Message Board Divas (you know who you are) stewing. Get over it. Unlike some, Tri is informative without being bitter, shady and cynical.

Thanks also for your posts on the DR. I've always wanted to go there, myself, and if I ever manage to tear myself away from Brazil the information you've provided will be invaluable. If you do go to Brazil yourself, I'd be extremely interested in your reaction, especially any "compare and contrast" opinions I hope you post here!

As I have posted before, it was the Brazil 500 show at the Gugenheim in NYC and Trilingual's postings/reviews that convinced me to give up my annual pilgrimage to Europe and try Brazil.

 

I am soooooo enamorado (Port?) with Brazil, I can't thank Tri enough!!!!!

I want to express my indebtedness to Trilingual as well as Jaunty for their contributions to this board. I have my first trip planned for Rio over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was due to their posts that I decided to venture South. I am counting the days and continue to plan both a day and nighttime itinerary in order to savor all of Rio's delights. Thanks for the information--I feel very well prepared and with the help of my Berlitz course (and the important phrases gleaned from this board) I am condident the experience will be unforgetable. Without Trisexual, I would be nothing. He introduced me to Brazil, which I looked up in the Encyclopedia Americana, as he recommended. Because of him I got my hole plowed by twins, got sucked off by military men and made out with three dancers from Le Boy... and that was just the first morning.

 

I used to be shy and reclusive and now I'm a total shameless slut ... thank you Trisezual (oops, now I'm lizping), I owe it all to you. I am no longer ashamed of my 276 pounds on my 5' 4" frame. What the hell, I said, if Trisexual can describe himself as a totally pear-shaped, bald, government employee, incapable of wearing Armani clothes --- FUCK, so can I !!!!!!

Despite the last comment, I too want to add my voice of thanks to Trilingual for his advice to me on my several trips down to BA. His advice and willingness to share make this board worthwhile! I believe we should all share freely and openly, as well as candidly, our experiences and information.

 

For many years, I would travel and not have an idea of where to go to find some fun. Guide books were generally out of date but this board and others offer current anecdotal information of great use to those of us who are serious about these matters.

Well, that photo isn't of somebody who's 5'4" and weighs 276 pounds. So I guess it isn't IamI2002. (It's actually Apollus's "Bruce," my current obsession.)

 

Other hobbies? Politics, opera, collecting books and CDs (and now DVDs), cooking, travel (not just to Brazil). . . My newest one is getting ready for retirement at the end of the year and facing up to the reality of elderly parents, one of whom is showing early signs of Alzheimer's. I guess I'll soon have to become an expert on that! :'(

Actually, he's reviewed today, under the name Morenno. (Márcio must be his Apollus nom-de-escort.) There have been some other postings about him in these threads. Consensus is that he's a power top; little or no kissing, but very active. If that's cool with you, he's a good bet.
