As for American sites there's http://www.rentboy.com and http://www.meetlocalmen.com. I don't think they're free, but then I'm not an expert in this area.

 

There's also http://www.gaydar.co.uk if you aren't familiar with it. I don't know if they charge to be on their escort page, but you probably can bypass that and show up in the general, free section if you register with a name like BrazilGuide or BrazilScort or something like that. (Including "escort" in your nickname may not be possible in the free section).

 

Maybe other readers have information, or you could post in the Ask an Escort board for ideas?

RE: Disappearing Text

 

For any Mac OS X Jaguar users who are having the disappearing text problem, I've found a possible solution on the Mac support site. In Internet Explorer preferences, go to Interface Extras in the Web Browser section. Un-check "Enable Quartz text smoothing." This option may exist in the preference section of other programs where this occurs. For me, it's in any browser, but I haven't had a chance to go into them yet to see if that feature can be turned off in their preferences. According to the discussions on the Mac site, this problem crops up in a lot of Microsoft Programs, but it mustn't be limited to them, because I get it in Netscape, too. Hope this is helpful to someone!
