One = are there cruisy areas to pick up guys or is it all on the internet?

 

Two - what area is the best area to stay in?

Personally, I would avoid the street scene in Spain. There is a reasonable amount of street crime and many of the guys who would be working the streets are drug addicts who won't have your best interests at heart. I'd suggest sticking to the saunas and bars.

I've enjoyed staying in the Barrì Gotic (the Gothic Quarter) but I'm sure I'd enjoy staying in the Eixample, too. I'd want to find a place that has easy Metro access, though.
