why not/blue boy in Amsterdam

I'm going to be in Amsterdam in a few weekends. i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Marlon, Sascha or Rick from the blue boy. i'm looking to hire 1 or 2 big dicked guys do do some light S&M with. any help is greatly appreciated.

I was at the club a couple of weeks ago and did not see any of the guys you mentioned. The atmosphere there is rather odd. The boys are not really particularly friendly. I thought Speedy was very hot, and in person he is even cuter than his pictures. He was standing next to me so I said hello and introduced myself. He shook my hand and quickly moved away to the other side of the bar. It was a shame because I think I would have enjoyed time with him if he were friendly. There's a little English guy working there who has a great body (something like Justin or Jason). He was very popular. I ended up spending time with Gabriel. He's got a great smile and is very handsome, and of the guys there he seemed the most friendly. He gave me a great BJ and he's got a nice enough body. He's not the type I usually go for, but it was a good time. I'd recommend Boys Club 21 which is at 21 Spui Str., about a block from Blue Boy. Can anyone tell me if Boys Club 21 in Amsterdam has a S&M room or a "dundeon"?

And can anyone tell me if the boys at Club 21 have regular medical exams and blood tests to protect their health as well as the health of their clients? And how about the boys at Michael's Boys? Do they have regular exams too? I have e-mailed this question to Bertram at Michael's, but he does not answer. (I have no e-mail address for Club 21.) Calvin at the Blue Boy Club tells me that the boys there go to the doctor every two months, or sooner if needed, but I do not know if this policy is required by Dutch law, and would therefore be required of Club 21 and Michael's as well, or if this is just the common sense policy of the Blue Boy.

I emailed Bertram and his reply to your original email bounced. He says Michael's have a close working relationship with GG&GD and SAD Schorerstichting in Holland both for regular testing as well as educating the guys in safer sex.

Well, since I'm back I thought I'd comment.

 

I went to Why Not and watched the sex show (50 dutch gilders). Mildly entertaining, but nothing to write home about. I agree with fedssocr that the atmosphere was very odd and none of the boys I asked about were working there. The best I can describe the atmosphere it that it was like a girl's high school cheerleading practice with all the escorts in a corner giggling with possible customers being ignored. Extremely odd considering this is how they make their living. FYI: There was a note about a price increase starting with the new year.

 

I went down the street to Boys Club 21. It's easy to miss, so look close. You ring to get in and they have an escort meet you at the door, so right there it gets a higher rating. The place is nicer that Why Not (why they don't have a web page I don't know). I ended up with a british boy named adam who, while not the type I asked about in my original post (see description below), I connected with extremely well and had as good of time with as I could possibly have wished for. The boy is highly recommended. 20, blondish hair, 5'8", 150 lb, 7+ inches, uncut, and very versatile (I was also). 225 dutch gilders (another 25 if you use a credit card).

 

Maybe Why Not had a bad night, but next time I'm in town looking for some fun I know where I'll stop first.

 

Also, in case anyone is interested, the house gets over half. Adam did not volunteer this info, I asked and I did not ask until after I had tipped. The time I had was well worth the tip (plus the dollar is strong right now).

The last time I was at Why Not I noticed that same behavior of all the escorts socializing together while the customers stood around silent and uncomfortable-looking, which is certainly different from what I have usually observed at the boy clubs there. The only person I connected with one new Australian escort who stayed apart from the others. On the other hand, I thought the boys there were more attractive physically than those at the other places, including 21, where they seemed to be both nelly and superaggressive, a combination which I don't happen to find appealing. I'm sorry to learn from a post here that Club 44 has closed, since that was actually my favorite.

Yes, your analogy is spot on. The first time I stopped in at Blue Boy last month was in the late afternoon so it was pretty quiet. At that point the guys who were there actually were a bit more friendly and showed me the book with all the guys in it. But when I went back in the evening no one wanted to talk to me except for Gabriel.

 

The boy I was with at 21 was actually quite masculine, very boy-next-door really. But I think I know what the other poster meant by the guys there being a bit more nelly. A good number of the guys at Blue Boy would also fall into that category. I guess we all have different tastes, but the guys at 21 were certainly more to my liking. I certainly wich I'd had more cash with me to tip Peter better than I did, although he seemed to not really want a tip. I guess it's against policy for them to ask so maybe he was a little uncomfortable with that...

 

In retrospect I think I might have done better to just call Michael's or go back to 21 instead of going back to Blue Boy like I did when I met Gabriel. But having a boy to my hotel would have been a bit more difficult I think...

 

When I was in Amsterdam for the Gay Games in '98 I found the atmosphere at Blue Boy to be much more welcoming and I also enjoyed the club at 44 better, I wonder what happened to them. I stopped by several times but the door was locked and there was no bell. Their sign was still up next to the door though.

I had pretty much the same experience when I was in AMsterdam in the spring. The sex show was a little disappointing, since it didn't actually go as far as real fucking (on the other hand, it was much better than the previosu time, when both guys were bottoms & it was obvious there was no chemistry - or sex).

The guys working the bar area were much more interested in each other than customers, generally. The house just down on the street (same side of the street) was much friendlier & I had several sessions there (plus, arranged to meet 2 of the guys at my hotel after they got off work for a substantial saving - although the risk here is that thay have 'given their all' while working their shift.

Michaels' really came through for me, too.

Just thought I'd echo what has been so well stated here.

 

The comment about the cheerleaders' locker room hit the target. Somehow in recent years the "quality" of guys at Blue Boy has changed (for better or worse, I guess, depends on one's taste).

 

Lately when passing by Blue Boy I feel like a broken ATM machine, which just keeps spewing out money... lousy drinks (MINIMUM shots), too much haze and smoke, loud music for teenie boppers, and most of the boys chatting each other up on make-up, clothes etc...

 

Wish someone could get a message to Cal that he needs to change things there - there are quite a few unsatisfied clients out here, and for the same amount of money you can get more quality escorts from <Michael's> (note I did not plug PEOPLE, which is a rip off too, in my opinion - about 5 or 6 of the so-called agencies in Amsterdam have the same "management" and same boys... and People is part of the consortium).
