Look out guys, Cook County might just be running sting operations on Craigslist escort ads. Clients and escorts should beware.

Sheriff elections must be coming up.

 

I saw a little of the press conference where this was announced and he specifically said "we must do something to help these women".

 

Seems a little focused.

 

He's actually suing to impede free speech which isn't going to go anywhere but he may get some press (see press conference, above) out of it.

Most municipalities in Cook County from Chicago down to the tiniest suburb have their own police forces, so I'm guessing that Sheriff Dart is trying to make his department look useful. He should lend his assistance to the Chicago PD...they need help catching real criminals like murderers and rapists.
