The picture in that ancient review is not as muscular as the pictures he currently shows on Rentboy--if this is the same Joseph that I am thinking of. If it is the same Joseph--here is a link to a fairly recent thread on him

....i was very disappointed when i hired him....he was uninvolved, fatigued, limp, lacking in charm, cold....was good looking, though...on muscle service he has also been the subject of 'beware' responses from prospective clients....perhaps he is still in grauate school, as his ad implies, but i doubt it

nycman..So True! There have been many times when I was going to say just that after 411 has been very Negative about someone and the Working Guy snags another Victim anyways! LOL

Dear B,

 

I am a rare contributor to these forums as I strongly adhere to the adage that escorts should be seen, and not heard. Sometimes, nevertheless, it is necessary to comment - even more urgently when someone might be in potential danger.

 

Last weekend, I couldn't accommodate a regular DC client due to being fully booked; as an alternative, the client sought "Joseph's" services. On Monday, feeling humiliated and distressed, the client phoned me to relay the following story regarding his ill-fated appointment.

 

After a few minutes into the call, it was apparent that encounter was a "no-go" - bordering on disaster: the escort couldn't get hard, won't deliver on pre-agreed services, was rude, etc. When the client pulled the plug, asked Joseph to leave his hotel room, and refused to pay the $300 demanded, Joseph berated and insulted him, then punched him in the face.

 

There are always two sides to every story. Further, it is not my style to opine on other escorts. Inevitably, there will be occasions when the chemistry between client & escort will not be there. In such cases, the escort should leave and forego payment - especially if he cannot physically perform. That being said, there is no excuse for violence on either side.

 

At the time, I urged the client to describe his experience in a review, however, he is more inclined not to make waves and remain under the radar screen.

 

Word to wise.

Hey Mick,

You being a very well Respected & Reviewed Hunk NYC Working Guy, it's definitely cool for you to Pass Along any 411 you feel may be of HELP to the Reader's around here!

 

Rather "To Be Seen Than Heard" is Basically the Motto of most Working Guys for many good reasons.

 

BUT also being Heard also has some good points too. This is definitely one of them! Thanks for the info. ;-)

Wow. Thanks, Mick. I'm very happy you decided to post your response. "Joseph" has indeed been removed from my list for next week. Now, the big question is...who replaces him? I've seen some amazing ads on the various websites. I've looked for "JAnthony" who used to run an ad on RB, but it no longer exists. Tried emailing him but have received no response.

My only advice and what I always tell clients: anyone worth hiring is reviewed here. Read the reviews.

Just seconding Mick -- read the reviews and the threads, you'll find plenty of choices of well recommended guys. I've hired a pretty good bit and have had mostly good experiences. And the few not good ones, were nothing like as bad as the ones we've just read about Joseph. NYC has some really great escorts available, and they're not hard to find. Just keep reading and asking here.

I think I saw Mr. Anthony's rentboy ad posted in Miami at the current time. The following comment is second hand. Please be clear with Mr. Anthony up front exactly what you are looking for. From a very reliable source is drop dead gorgeous, but straight. He has limitations and as long as that is clear proceed.

I'm leaning toward Rafael Alencar. Still...there are so many beautiful, beautiful men listed. It's tough when you only have a limited amount of time in the city. I mean, there's the theatre as well...can't pass up that opportunity, oh, and work. Yeah, I mean the trip is about work. Yeah, work.

Blade..I realize the old "too many men and too little time" may apply when it CUMS TO CUMMING to and in NYC! !

 

BUT I'm sure the "Local Talent" that is Reviewed in the NYC Section of DADDYS can more than bring a Smile to your Face!
