Though many double entendres are risque, that's certainly not a requirement. Wikipedia gives the short story "The Most Dangerous Game" (about hunting humans) as its first example of a double entendre.

Everybody is correct on this one. According to the "Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary" Eleventh Edition the following is the definition of double entendres:

 

1. ambiguity of meaning arising from language that lends itself to more than one interpretation.

2. a word or expressionn capable of two interpretation with one usually risque

 

Based on those two definitions a double entendres my be "risque" but certainly need not be. Please note that the "risque" definition is the second one.

Does the disease of lethargic apathy (not mine, mind you) count as a "mental health" reason? I hear depression is no fun.

 

Two years of therapy in my 20's was a life saver.
