Would you admit to hiring an escort like Ethan

I started an earlier thread and agree that every escort has the right to advertise any practice they want - safe or unsafe.

 

My original question was more about clients of escorts who advertise unsafe sex than about the escort who does the actual advertising.

 

Many of us here (and on other boards) are quick to list the guys we've been with and give our experiences (sometimes good sometimes bad) - and I don't mean simply in the reviews section. Often a very good back and forth on the escorts we enjoy take place in these forums. While Ethan has three reviews none are by guys that are "regulars" here on the boards - which is fine.

 

My question is with the full-on advertising of unsafe sex that an escort like Ethan chooses to use would YOU admit publicly (as public as these boards are) that you hired him?

 

What affect would that admission have on other escorts if they knew that you had an encounter with an escort like Ethan?

I know for a fact that some of the escorts I've hired (and reviewed, and discussed here) bareback on request. With me, protection is used. Period. I'm not always aware of all of their advertising before hiring them, but I assume it's there.

 

I assume all of the escorts I hire are having unprotected sex SOMEWHERE in their lives and proceed accordingly, the same way I deal with bar hookups and backroom romps.

 

Ethan, in particular, probably wouldn't make my list but it's because he's a little older than I generally look for. But to be honest, he seems charming, enthusiastic, literate, even witty, and he's probably a fantastic lay (even protected). ;-)

 

But I understand that we live in a very regulatory society. No matter the behavior, someone somewhere wants to control what you do. In Calabassas, CA, it's illegal to smoke in your own home if you rent and share a wall with another unit. In CA in general, you MUST have dogs and cats spayed or neutered, but in West Hollywood you MAY NOT have a cat declawed.

 

Anal sex is still illegal in a good many states. In recent years, we've seen repeals in many. But in our society's regulatory state of mind, I'd expect to see that reversed. The Sally Kerns will be after you!

 

Somebody ALWAYS wants to tell you how to live your own life. That doesn't make them right.

 

If everyone would spend more time minding their own business, we'd probably all be better off.

iv never hired an escort but if i did i would use the protection as i do with anyone else. you should assume everyone could be at risk regardless of whats written on their web site.. would i ever hire ethan? "escorts like Ethan" are a-plenty and they often don't come with tell-all upfront websites and/or warning stickers on their foreheads. I'm sure there have been many many admissions of encounters with "escorts like Ethan" but the client acted safely, the escort acted safely, and no one's the wiser. Then there are encounters where both parties are un-safe and I guess one goes to the escort listings on bareback sites with guestbooks because you can read glowing reviews there. And as I recall in the past such unsafe encounters have made "coverboy" reviews on here a time or two. (don't know what the policy is now)
