This is for both clients and escorts. Is the current economy having any effect on (a) your hiring (if you're a client), or (b) your client activity (if you're an escort)? If so, it would be nice to have factual info as well as anecdotes. :*

I am salaried and deal in a service. The salary hasnt changed and the spending patterns havent changed yet. But with everything getting more expensive, gas, food, clothes...the inevitable will be luxuries will be cut.

IMHO. I'm thinking alot have! Just going by the lack of Conversation that used to be around here, concerning those who were interested in What "Working Guys" I doubt the smaller amount of Daily Review's has anything to do with it either.

Although the Major Market Guys..NYC.MIAMI..CHICAGO..LA

Probably still do a decent biz due to the Volume of Available CLIENT'S!

im thinking of offering a discount type of massage it would be 15 to 20 cheaper than what i normally charge. but would be more like a massage from a doctors office for those looking for a lower rate

It is one of the luxuries that does get trimmed when money gets tight, but I have been told smokers and drinkers smoke and drink more when times are bad.

I remember a favorite working guy of mine in LA telling me early April was terrible for his business because many of his clients would have big tax bills to pay. The regular salaried guys with tax withholding did not face that, but the more creative, self-supporting, independent contractor types have income ebbs and flows and if they underestimated their estimated taxes, they would face huge bills.

I wonder if there will be a little surge in business when people get their tax rebarte checks. I make a bit too much to qualify, but for those under the cutoff, it should produce the intended result of stimulating the economy. Some working guys spend it as soon as they get it.
