I'm stunned no one else has posted about the most recent review of Mike Grey in which the poster (who has many reviews) claims to have gotten Mike Grey to bottom. This is big news in that Mike has been one of the long time exclusively power tops among NYC escorts. He has an amazing body and bubble butt, but none of his many reviewers ever mentioned even the possiblity of him bottoming. I don't doubt that, like many gay escorts, he may have bottomed privately, but that's another thing. And he appears to have done it for a slightly lower rate of only $200, rather than his current $250 asking price.

Do we believe this review? Is Mike turning a new page and widening his horizons?

The reviewer seems very credible. What to do you think?

Hard to believe... I've been with Mike a few times and noted the absolutely gorgeous, smooth firm ass, but didn't even think of going there... His whole persona was top, top, top! This statement probably reveals several factors. First and foremost, it shows that Mike is a good businessman regarding setting his fees. Plus, it is a common business practice that in a service oriented business when one does not enjoy a certain aspect of their business and wants to limit providing a given service, one of the easiest ways to limit delivering that service is to raise the price in proportion to the amount one wishes to discourage usage of such a service. Also, such an action might be indicative of Mike’s personal predilections as well as an indication of what he feels his strong points are.

 

So in the final analysis, Mike probably enjoys topping, feels it is his forte, and has fine tuned his business “transactions” to accommodate those preferences.

I think the posters who are saying Mike charged more for bottoming are missing two important points.

1. Mike apparently DOES like to bottom as Tom, Eric, and the latest reviewer all attest. At least with hot top fellow escorts, he seems to prefer bottom.

2. In the latest review, by execNYC, who is very credible, Mike seems to have charge LESS than his going rate (his advertised in rate is $250 and the reviewer listed the price as $200).

So maybe his charging more for bottoming was a past practice that he no longer holds to.

It's just an interesting turn around for most of us on this forum where Mike is almost always mentioned in the lists of "Best Tops in NYC". He's generally written about as an aggressive "ubertop" which was indeed my experience with him. So it's just surprising to read from fellow escorts and at least one reviewer that his real predilection is as a bottom.

I'm sure that's still the case. It's not just a cliché that the best tops make the best bottoms. Derek is now bottoming after being an exclusive dominant top for a long time, and if anything, he's now even more aggressive when he tops. It doesn't make you less of a top if you bottom. It makes you well-rounded.

Well, how can anyone other than the person in question say what someone's real predilection is? Maybe it depends on his mood or the person he's with. But personally, I never find any of this stuff surprising. Sexuality can be very fluid (sorry for the pun) and a person's interests, preferred positions and fetishes can change over time.
