Los Angeles Scene--Kinda Boring?

When I first started visiting this site in the HooBoy days, Los Angeles had a number of highly reviewed, exciting escorts: Brogan, Kristian, Croft, Athan, Ceasar Mancini, Rod Hagen, later joined by Bobby Thompson--just to name a few. Now, however, other than the SA fan club, it seems the LA scene has gotten rather stale? Any one else have the same impression?

I have to agree completely. Having moved to SoCal, there just don't seem to be the quality companions in LA area anymore and certainly very few to none that are willing to travel to Orange County. It's really ashame. I'm sure that there are many quality clients and otherwise in LA and SoCal.

Well as I'm only in the L.A. area for a week each month I may not count as an L.A. escort. But I've always been willing to travel to Orange county (and elsewhere). But I think I'm too exotic or something because clients don't ask me to come that way. Somedays I'll get 5 clients who want to outcalls in Beverly hills, WeHo, Hollywood, downtown or in between but rarely one from OC.

 

Just as well I guess as my heart and roots are in central/west L.A. and it has allowed me to keep my SoCal trips largely car-free and centered around my grandmother in SilverLake.

As mentioned by "Expat", quality is the key word here. On 3 trips to LA in the recent past, I've had a no-show (from someone with multiple positive reviews), a traveling escort who quit traveling before reaching LA (I found this out from his travel partner's website, not him), an advertised bottom who didn't bottom (Corbin Michaels), a "lost cell phone" (perhaps this was legit), and a couple guys who arrived sans supplies. One of the "sans supplies" guys was pretty arrogant.

 

In fairness, I also had more generic problems: I ran into scheduling conflicts with two guys who look promising (Rusty & Hayden). Scott might interest me if it was clear what he did and what he charged.

Well luckily I've not yet lost my cell phone. But I do anticipate that eventually, or it malfunctioning, and so tell my clients that if we have trouble connecting by phone we can use email as a backup and vice-versa. Also hard as it can be to find a payphone they do still exist.

 

But the escort w/ out supplies thing really is screwy. Though I guess anyone can screwup. I've forgotten my big stash of condoms and had to reach for my emergency spares. If I'm on the road and have run out of supplies I ask the client if he has condoms/lube etc. And if not then I stop and buy some. Even 7-11 and gas stations sell them these days. Really do people actually leave the house without condoms and lube?

 

Although I obviously think it the escorts job to carry supplies I think every client ought to also have some. No practioner of safe-sex should risk tempting themselves or their partner to bareback.

Both should be packing. As you say, it's not like condoms and lube are difficult to find. BUT, if either partner has requirements (i.e. Magnums or other specialty) or lube allergies/sensitivities, it is doubly incumbent on them to bring the goods to the party.

 

Nobody should EVER hear "well, I don't/can't/won't use that brand".

 

If it's your requirement (client or escort), it's your responsibility to make sure it's available.

Actually, the arrogant sans supplies guy balked when I suggested polyurethane condoms (which would have permitted the use of lotion). He was willing to go with spit, but the whole thing seemed odd.

 

I'm happy to see an escort see the problems with not coming to a hotel (where the occupant is likely to be a traveler dealing with stupid TSA restrictions) w/ lube and possibly w/o condoms.
