An article in the Metro section of Friday's Washington Post reveals that a California madam who has been indicted on prostitution charges says she may sell her client list to pay for her legal expenses. She did business in DC under the name Pamela Martin and Associates. Her business was providing women for male clients. She claims to have 46 pounds (!) of detailed and itemized phone records of her clients. This raises the question, how safe do you feel with escorts and agencies having personal information on you? Are there any reasonable ways to protect oneself in this age of cell phones and e-mails which seem to be very easily traced by the authorities?

The only thing I can think of is to give the authorities something better to do. I'm thinking oh, say, domestic violence, elder abuse, child neglect. You know, the stuff with victims.

Yes there is Lookin, but only one - Don't use either. That's your only fail safe guarantee.:-(
