Aren't there any traveling hunks who will be attending or even participating in the Gay Games (July 15-22)in Chicago who want to make some money while they're here? Haven't seen any notices of escorts coming in for the games in the travel section. I could understand if this were January but July in Chicago is wonderful. The Lake, the Belmont Rocks, Boystown, etc. Where are you guys?

Lakeshore @ Belmont. Most of the boystown crowd hangs out there to sun themselves and, well, boys will be boys. :p Pick a rock, spread your towel, and enjoy the show.

The other cruisy lakefront spot is Hollywood Beach, although reports vary.

(Of course, it's Chicago so there are only 4 days/year the beach is really viable. }( )

Team Palm Springs was so desperate they actually asked ME to play for them. Luckily I broke my wrist, so spared myself the embarrassment of having to compete.

As a previous poster stated, go to "Chicago" at http://www.rentboy.com, and you'll see those hunks who have announced their dates in Chitown during this special event.

I remember going to the first Gay Games which were held in San Francisco! What a time I had at both the opening and the closing ceremonies!!!!

They might be a little different this year. There's been a rift in the organization with the result being the Gay Games in Chicago and the upcoming OutGames in Montreal.

As I understand it, one faction is more interested in preserving the "Olympic-ness" of the games (including all the politics and backstabbing), and the other is more interested in the athletes, the games, and the engendered cameraderie and community.

It wasn't a pretty split.

It's unfortunate that a major unifying event for our community has been ripped apart like this, but it has and I sure wish I could be in Mtl in a few weeks! ;-)
