Reece retired exactly two years ago this month and moved back to the west coast. Sadly for his fans, and I considered myself among the biggest, his retirement left a void that I think it is unlikely will ever be filled. I've tried several other people who purport to do what he did, but they've all been dismal failures. He was truly into a class unto himself. I'm just glad that I saw him as frequently as I did because I still have those memories which haven't faded.

RE: "That guy was in a class of his own..."

Interestingly I was on the verge initiating a similar posting. I am also interested in discovering if there is any new blood in the S&M escort scene in New York City… someone who is mature, masculine, and muscular that will be able to provide an intense yet sane experience.

Reece was the greatest! It has been almost two years to the day since Reece retired... and I know of no ideal replacement... So guys I ask the same exact question… Is there a replacement for Reece?

To better explain to others what Reece was all about I have selected exerpts from some of my previous postings about him: I was hooked after the first time around… it soon became almost an addiction… my new leisure activity so to speak.

Reece had the smoothest and sexiest voice ever... I can still hear him saying "on your knees boy..." and it sill actually makes me feel weak in my knees! He also had a special talent for knowing just where to take you and exactly how far to go.

The clean-cut model looks... added to the special attraction… this is the paradox that was Reece and why so many clients felt so comfortable with him. More importantly, he was SANE in his approach to S&M... some guys that I have tried in the post-Reece era can get carried away... and need to be kept in check... with Reece you never had to worry about any such thing... one could trust him implicitly.

Part of the allure and mystique that was Reece were the before and after conversations…He would discuss his foibles, problems, fears, as well as his hopes and dreams… This made him so much more human (and sexy) compared to the ‘slam bam’ attitude of most guys… Again this was part of the fascination.

The fact that Reece had a playroom that was NOT his bedroom was another part of the attraction… Reece also said in his view sex should be animalistic… which by definition included a certain amount of a rough a tumble quality… Think of how a couple of rhinos would do it… Still he had a gentle side… I referred to Reece being a “definite dichotomy” in one of the several reviews I submitted on his behalf. In fact, experiencing the pain as being applied by this “gentleman” was again part of the magnetism and appeal that was Reece…

He was indeed a “bright, sincere, and talented guy.” Place an emphasis on “sincere” and add trustworthy and honest... and again you have a clue to the charisma and charm that was Reece…

As for the Reece himself he is hopefully enjoying the good life in Southern California... I wish him all good fortune in the world… and so good buddy, if you monitor these forums on occasion I’m sure it will be heartening for you to know how may lives you have touched in a positive way… sounds so ironic for such a consummate leatherman to be described in such glowing and warm terms… but that was indeed the “definite dichotomy”, the “paradox” and yes, the "gentleman" that was Reece.

Yes..Being in a "League of your Own" is Truly a Guy to Remember!

The Great Guy's Always do move on Eventually...The other's usually stay to late at the Party!

Replacing the Experience's will never really happen, but you do learn not to settle for "Mediocre" either! IMHO :p :P :p

>Damn... he was like 'JFK Jr. meets Tom of Finland.' Does

>anyone know how Jason Markus compares? That guy gets great

>reviews.

Jason Markus is in no way comparable to Reece Rothmeier. Once is enough with Jason. A thousand nights would never be enough of Reece. I speak from first hand experience with both.

As someone who has had experience with both Reece and Jason many times, I would like to say that they're both incredible men. They really aren't comparable in that what they did, in my experience, was different, and I think Reece was non-pareil at being a master. However, Jason is one of my favorites and has helped to fill the void that was left by Reece. In addition to be a very sexy man, Jason is an incredible human being whom I hold in the utmost regard. Oh, but what I wouldn't give for one more session with Mr. Rothmeier!

i think alot of guys whothink they are tooold to be a marketable escort could be comparable...there is nothing i like better than a confident, handsome, gentle, dominnant top...makes me weak in the knees....and i knoe i am not alone....i hope some daddy reads this and hangs (or rehangs)his shingle....or contacts me directly so i can have him all to myself

  • 3 weeks later...

I have not hired Master Victor so I am not capable of commenting on his personality and demeanor, though his credentials reveal someone who seems to be well versed and extremely knowledgeable in all areas of BDSM.

However, based exclusively on his photos he comes up quite short in the purely visual department. From my perspective, he does not even come close to possessing the physical presence of a Reece, who being the total package, had the beefy muscular torso of a construction worker combined with the attractiveness of a GQ model.

I had sex more than once with both Reece and Victor, and the experiences were very different. Reece was bright, a good conversationalist, and fabulous to look at, and he had a slick Chelsea apartment; Victor hardly talks at all (he's kind of a shy country boy), is not very prepossessing physically, other than being fairly tall, and has a grungy little East Village place. Nevertheless, I found the sex much more satisfying with Victor, who seemed to be genuinely into his scene--he was getting off on it even more than I was at times--while Reece always struck me as much more an actor playing a role. If I wanted a companion for an upscale vacation, I'd take Reece, but for a depraved one-on-one, I'd choose Victor.

Charlie, you are definitely correct in that Reece was always like an actor playing a role. Being a convincing escort does indeed involve a certain degree of acting ability, especially if a client’s wildest fantasies are to be played out. However, over time I noted a distinct improvement in those acting skills so that eventually I got the feeling that we always seemed to work in unison, in that he was always able to anticipate what I wanted and just how far to go.

In fact in what proved to be his last posted review I remarked how sessions had a more natural flow and spontaneity that hitherto had not been part of his otherwise considerable talents. Unfortunately, just when he would have garnered at least a best actor nomination he retired…

My experience is similar. With Reece the first time it seemed very staged - as if he was going through a familiar script, so there was little spontaneity or passion to it, almost like a formula. I've never felt that with Victor. On the other hand, my second time with Reece was a decided improvement, maybe because I asked him to do some things that were not in his script and, having to fall back on improvisation, he was "forced to become original"... Victor is always originally and spontaneous, in my experience.

I agree that Victor has a very different look and manner form Reece. Reece has model looks, beefy muscle, and a very suave manner. Victor is a plain-spoken, taciturn country boy, tall and with a saturnine sort of look, not in the kind of buff shape that Reece was the last time I saw both of them, and Victor's place is grungy compared to Reece's immaculate setting. On the other hand, as noted, Victor's sense of involvement with a client is total, and the grungy surrounding actually makes a more atmospheric, convincing sort of dungeon substitute.

And comparisons are of little effect now, anyway, since Reece is no longer available for this and Victor is... so, for any whipped guys who want to get whipped... he's the man.
