escorts disputing reviews

An escort recently told me he had several false reviews here. I pointed out that all of his reviews were favorable; he said that he hadn't done certain sex acts that a few reviews said he did. He told me that the reviews (even though they were favorable!) had been posted with malicious intent.

 

Questions (for escorts and others):

 

He hadn't availed himself of the opportunity to rebut the reviews. I understand why an escort might shy away from participating in the message center here, but the escort gets the last word in rebutting a review. I know I'd rebut a false review if I were an escort; are there good reasons not to?

 

I can appreciate that an escort might only engage in certain acts when the chemistry is right, and wouldn't want to advertise them. If a review (truthfully) notes that the escort did something that he only sometimes will do, what's a good way for the escort to handle this? If the escort simply warned me "hey, I usually don't _______", that would've been fine with me. If his reviews were accurate (which I suspect they were), I think it's a bad tactic to say they were false.

 

In the spirit of attacking issues rather than people, I prefer not to identify the escort.

They may not want to look stupid. (Many do.) They may have had a bad client and not want to be harsh. Business may just be so good they don't need to worry about it.

Maybe if I was his client I would ask him. I chose not to see him (for reasons other than the issues mentioned here).

 

He didn't have much interest in talking to someone who wasn't already his client. He was short with his answers, like a lot of escorts who get many more inquiries than they do actual appointments.

i've rebutted one or two reviews. my responses probably would shock people who are used to my postings here in the message center.

so, there are PLENTY of escorts capable of civility when communicating in written form. there are also a few of us who aren't advertizing when we contribute to the message center & therefore don't hold back.

I always assumed this was a defense mechanism. Its easier to bend the rules and do more, than it is to do less. Thus some of the more intimate or invasive actions can be withheld without being accused of "not performing as advertised", while if the "chemistry", cleanliness, and size is right, those acts can be shared and the client feels even better about the meeting.

I'm sorry to read this. First, they are wrting off a siteful of customers. Second, they might improve their service if they take the comments seriously.

Joke or not, it's the only escort review site that I or many other people know about. Although it's true that many (if not most??) of the positive reviews are fake, the negative ones are definitely taken seriously by a large number of people. Especially if there are two negative reviews, without many to rebut them, this would have a significant negative impact on business. One would have to question why an escort who cares about his business wouldn't at least take it seriously. I do know two escorts who consider this site a total joke. One is actually quite a successful escort with only good reviews (but not many, since he doesn't post any himself). The other has only bad reviews. I don't think he keeps himself too busy.
