posting on a message board is not my profession.

escorting isn't even my profession. escorting does, however, pay for school.

<Nevertheless, some people would be grateful to learn how to spell "definite." >

Hummm... Me thinks you refer to my original post. Well, that was definately a typo. I have a Croation keyboard, and the "i" and "a" are switched.

That's my story, and I am sticking to it.

For a fun new twist in English, how about legalize -- legal writing.

For the attorneys here, do they teach courses on how to write in this manner? Seems they are especially fond of commas.

Thanks NYC !!!

To keep this thing going... You were partially correct in your correction.

The first and third "e" have diacriticals, accent agu.

I didn't know how to insert these characters with this form.

I try to keep my ample bitchiness in reserve for special occasions, although from time to time some slips out unintentionally. In this case, it was not unintentional.

I posted to this thread as #2 on Saturday evening at about 7:30 PM East Coast Time. Haven't gotten to read all of the subsequent posts until now and have had a blast doing so. DCeBoy - I do apologize if I have criticized YOU. I only meant to ask you to do what so many others in this thread have asked you to do -- and that is to comment on the topic at hand and not just jump in to say nothing about the topic but merely to correct someone's harmless error. Many of the posts here are tremendously eloquent, entertaining, and demonstrative of a great deal of latent intelligence. Keep up the good work guys.

I'm afraid you are stuck with being closer to the second-rate ee -- clever and skillful at best. Even your style (short and punchy) is more like his that the long form Walt used. More important, nowhere in any of your posts is there evidence of Whitman's compassion, humanity or his deep interest in others. WW never wrote a mean or unkind line.
