In LA Frontiers (p. 133, Aug 30 issue, http://www.frontierspublishing.com/class/3a08.htm) an escort named Scotty is advertising for $69 and up. Wow! His pic looks pretty okay.

 

Is there a "fare war" in the offing? :+

i haven't seen the frontiers section in a long time. the ad after the $69.oo special of this thread says; "new to town 21 year old". i remember seeing that ad maybe ten years ago!!!! how can a guy advertise "new" after such a long time without becoming a local joke (forget about the 21 years old bit).

 

can someone from LA comment on this? is this a local joke?

This is quite common in Frontiers. There are a number of ads that have been the same for years touting "new" or ages that haven't changed for the better part of a decade. Same with photos. You have to be very careful. Some do the same online as well.

It's very common. There's a photo ad that still runs and says "New in town" that was running the first time I visited LA 10 years ago. His pic was ~10 years (and a few pounds) outdated even then (if it was ever him).
