I hope this is the correct forum for this question and before anyone gets up in arms I'm not complaining about escort fees. Looking at the reviews here and the listings on other sites, it seems that Philadelphia has some great looking/acting escorts. My question is why their fees are so low as compared to other east coast cities (NY, DC, etc.)? Frankly, this town looks like a bargain for clients. I am thinking about coming to Philadelphia for a relatively inexpensive "fuck my brains out" vacation and was wondering if I may be missing something and should consider other cities even with the higher escort fees.

Philadelphia has long been a bargain not only in escort fees but in areas such as rent, real estate, restaurants, entertainment tickets, etc. The downside (or perhaps the cause) is that salaries tend to be lower than in other major east coast cities. Although fees are relatively low, so is the number of escorts to select from--one major agency pretty much controls the market, and since Premier keeps its fees low, it's hard for anyone else to compete. I started traveling down to Philadelphia for an occasional weekend away from New York City where I live in April, 2003. I agree with all the favorable comments made by previous posters. Also there are some great hotel deals at certain times of the year (like right now, for example) where you pay for one weekend night (ie Friday or Saturday) and get the next night free. It feels like a little mini-vacation, and Philadelphia is such a nice city to visit. I also agree with the favorable comments others have made about Premier. Charlie and Alan have hit the nail on the head with a direct hit! Philly's salaries and cost of living are much much lower than NYC or DC therefore making hotel rates, restaurant prices as well as escort rates much lower as well. Although, it's one of the reasons why Premier hasn't been able to bring in any really top porno stars or big names in the biz. As soon as they hear our rates they hang up and never call back. Although, when The Gaiety closed in March, I did start to get a few inquires from a few of their regular boys. They weren't real comfortable with our rates but said they'd get back to me. I have a feeling when their money starts to run dry, they'll be calling and will go for the lower rates.

Thanks for all the great input. I will definitely be going to Philadelphia for an extended "pig" feast. Premier definitely has many men that fit my "type;" older, hairy, etc. Who knows maybe I should consider retiring there.
