I think the point was to make the time as enjoyable as possible for both sides. Escorts aren't objects, they are professional sex workers and real people. Let's face it, most of us are not the type of guys escorts would consider romping around in bed with on their own time.

 

I think the point is simply better working conditions generally leads to better performance. In my professional life I don't provide the minimum required working conditions for my associates. I try to create an atmosphere where they can do their best work and possibly even enjoy it. I see no difference when I hire and escort.

On the subject of privacy and discretion... One thing I noticed from AOL guys is they forward their pic file, along with list of names of the guys that inquired. But, dont think escorts here do that, as seem more sophisticated.

These past few months I have been doing some interviewing for a new job....I am a teacher and was asked repeatedly "so tell me about yourself." It drove me insane....for chrissakes I am 35 years old....what do you want to know? My life story in two minutes?? So I can identify with that annoying question.

 

I respect my escorts to the fullest and it is always important to me that they feel comfortable in my home or in some cases my hotel room. Yes, I am paying them but that does not mean they are my property. Most of the time I get my escorts through an agency so it is difficult to talk with them prior to the meeting. I have had some cases where the agency would say escort "Bob" would do XYZ, but Bob does NOT do X and Z, but only Y...you get my drift. But I blame the agency, not the escort.

 

But really it is a matter of being clean, being nice, and being courteous...and we all know that that is easier said than done. I personally have a problem having sex with someone I am NOT attracted to...the fact that these guys do have sex with all types of men that they may not be attracted is amazing to me..I applaud them. Yes, I know they're getting paid X amount of dollars.....but still...they're not androids.

 

There are bad people in EVERY profession...and people seem to think that they can throw down a few dollars and abuse someone. I used to work in a hotel and was abused daily by customers for sometimes no apparent reason. So I can relate to that a bit as well. If an escort misrepresents himself..then you have a case....if you expect an escort to do something that he explicitly said he would not do...then you do not have a case. I don't know why we have these long posts about something as simple as manners.

First off let me say this is kind of like "preaching to the choir". I think the guys who take the time to post reviews here are on the opposite end of the spectrum of the nightmare clients category.

 

I have had a few unfortunate experiences. Here's a few tips I would give:

 

--Don't treat me like a "dumb whore" (unless that's some kind of scene that you've mutually agreed upon with your escort. Some escorts actually have advanced degrees.

 

--If at all possible, correspond two or three times with an escort to make sure there is no miscommunication about what's agreed upon, etc. If the escort doesn't take/make the time to do this, maybe that tells you something.

 

--Pictures don't always tell the story. Ask questions about the pictures (may have facial hair in picture but am now cleanshaven or vice-versa).

 

--If the escort shows up and he really isn't your type, mutually agree beforehand what you'll pay him for at least taking the time to come to your door.

 

--Give as much advance notice if you have to cancel.

 

--Understand that sometimes we do catch cold/the flu and may have to cancel/reschedule.

 

--Realize may of us have full-time jobs in other fields that don't allow us to be out on a weeknight after midnight.

 

--I'm a very considerate and responsible escort. I don't treat others rudely or make them feel uncomfortable. I would like the same kind of response from a client (p.s. Again, the vast majority of my clients have been really great guys)

It goes both ways. Clients aren't just objects (wallets) either.

To me it really is all about respect, communication, and common sense on both parts. I personally like to think that we both have a good time, particularly on a travel engagement. Granted, I doubt I would be in your company if I wasn't paying, but thats no reason not to try and connect, so if you like something I need to know, and if you dislike something I really need to know. I have two guys I've found who mesh with me enough that I really enjoy travel with them, and a third who I think would also work, but haven't travelled with. I often ask them where they would like to go. We have always found quite a few places we both enjoy. Only problem is not enough time and not enough money.

I took the comments to mean that most escorts would not choose to be with their clients in their private lives, only their professional ones. Fair enough assumption. But it does work both ways. The escorts we as clients hire are not necessarily the people we would choose to date outside of a professional arrangement.

I, personally, feel these are overrated qualities in a client or escort. I tend to feel that as Sean suggests, a baseball bat is the best solution to conflict resolution.

 

I will say that, after reading the posts on this thread--even though I pay papi $250 an hour--I can see why he won't jump off my 10th floor hotel room balcony at my bidding. I guess it's an unreasonable request.
