Daddy, I don't necessarily agree with what this guy said, but I DO THINK that you were too quick to delete his message and rob us of the opportunity to see another viewpoint.

In addition, the responses to the original thread are meaningless without the original post to reference.

If you're on a mission to remove / delete postings that smack of personal attacks, I can point you in the direction of at least 5-7 postings that qualify for your electronic censorship.

>Philly in May.

I too have not met you before :( , but I want to wish you the absolute very very best! I think you're "retiring" for all the right reasons. I've always thought from reading your messages on here and on your web site that you were one really nice guy who had his shit together....someone who understood how to relate to people and what this whole damn profession is or should be about.

Maybe all is not lost for me, however, to meet you -- I travel to DC and Baltimore on a regular basis. I hope our travel paths may cross on your last trip up that way. Let me know once you've made plans. It would be so nice to meet and talk with you in person before you head into wedded bliss :-)

Best wishes and congratulations!!

The right reasons, I don’t know if I have the right reason but I can’t think of anything better than retiring for or too than the person you love. I don’t know if I understood what this profession was all about but I can say I was being my self the whole time and not pontificating about how great I am or how great people should think I am.

I agree. I've been called everything on here. Including pedophile, big mouth jerk (my personal favorite) and others that escape me now. It doesn't really matter to me though, because, as I stated in another thread, I'm really a 14 year old girl in a mental institution. Or maybe not :)

I would hope that anonymous degradation by anonymous cyber identities doesn't alter anyone's day here. This isn't a self-help board. Although that might be a new forum to start.

This does sound like there might be dueling restraining orders, and a few Cop's Episodes in the near future. Slow down for your own good. If this is to have any chance at success, I believe that you should enter the water with a graceful stride, VS a cannon-ball.

BTW. If there is to be a career change, you may want to avail yourself of grammar and spell-check. The impressions that you make while writing and speaking, greatly measure your success in any line of work.

Joel:

You are so correct. Placement and advancement in any skilled occupation requires the ability to write and spell well.

Sadly, Mr. Michael possesses neither.

Hopefully he will utilize some of his new time to pursue these skills.

Unfortunately, he appears to be a typical product of the Texas public school establishment.

What the f... do you know about the Texas public school system you superior sob. While Vincent will not be winning many spelling and grammar awards, he has in past posts exhibited a broad knowledge of economics and an inquisitive mind.

As long as we are writing in generalities, forgive me for questioning the natural superiority of you Southern Californians who chose to spend half their smog infested day in traffic.

California is no shining star in the education factor either…I think all public schools suck.

On a side note my writing is from two things one I am lazy as hell and I haven’t really tried and two I have a writing disorder associated with the fact that my mind is going faster than my hands can keep up with.

So if you ask me the Texas Education System did a fine job...

I never stated that spelling reflects intelligence. Nor did I point to the corporate world as an example. This scenario reflects many positions in life.

I am, however, mindful of your improved spelling following these posts ;)

No Joke!! If I came back for whatever reason I am sure id hear allot of jokes…But it seams only smart ass snide comments are being said about my spelling and if that’s all they got on me then I am fine with it, I often find people who have to revert to such stupid comments have nothing better to say and exhibit a true sense of there unintelligence.

TX has some of the worst air in America. http://www.rentar.com/pr0121514 ranks Houston and Dallas among the top 12 cities in America for pollution. In addition, Florida recently took over the 50th worst rank of Texas for public schools. On the other hand, California doesn't perform well on either scale.

Hi Vincent,

Rarely post to this group, usually on the South America side, and never yet to a post of yours. But, I wanted to say I’ve been an admirer of yours from afar. :-)

Obviously, you were willing to share this important, life-altering experience with us, and some of what you got in return is comments about your education and spelling. I, for one, think you convey your thoughts better than most CEOs! And most of them have their secretaries correct their spelling for them! :-)

If your contributors cannot remember a time in their life that they fell completely and totally in love with someone, then I feel sorry for them. Maybe it was the air pollution! :-) But, I would advise caution in giving your heart away too quickly. Love does not have a timeline! :9

I hope your boy realizes what a treasure he has in you, and you can always use us as references! Would love to meet you in person in D.C.

Danny, welcome to the MC. Where is your profile:

Sorry, I couldn't send this to you in an email or pm. But I agree that Vincent might write an interesting romance novel, with lots of twists and turns. I wish him well, come nigh!

RE: Retirement cometh !!!

Gotta say that some of you guys really suck (and not in a good way :-) ).

I will share a little of my interaction with Vincent and hope that some people will take it to heart.

I spoke to Vincent a few weeks ago and this is my impression of the guy :

a) very very deep thinker...so many people go through life without thinking much about cause and effect, other people's feelings, etc. Vincent is not one of those.

b) Kind and sensitive - some may say overly sensitive, but the plus side is that he is also "over sensitive" to the needs of others. Kindness is never to be downplayed. It is not that bullshit kindness that is more of a pleasant way of being...it is a true concern for others and their situation

c) Open...incredibly open and willing to examine his own motivations

I will say no more cause I dont want to talk about stuff that is no one's business, but come on guys...how often do you get to honestly hear the angst of a honest person trying to find his way through life ?

That shit should be respected and not denegrated

PS Are you kidding about this public school shit ?!? Come to NYC and see the future of your country...you will weep in shame and fear !!!

I think being yourself and caring about people is a valued trait -- there are some escorts that never understand that. And, retiring for the one you love is for the right reason. Again, congratulations!! (still hope to see you in DC)
