Campus Escorts NYC, What's Going On?

I can't remember the last review of one of the Campus boys. My experiences with Campus have always been good in the past, but I'm noticing a drop in the quality of boys and quantity of reviews. Has it struggled since Michael left, or are they in a dry spell?

 

I'm going to NYC in a couple months and am struggling with who to hire through the agency. In the past, it was a struggle to narrow the field. Anyone have any thoughts or information?

I also used Campus Escorts a few times, several years back, and I agree that the quantity and quality of boys has changed, and not to my liking.

 

The fee structure is also a major turn-off.

 

You might want to try http://www.chelseaguys.com; its another agency, with a lot more guys advertised. I do not know, however, what their fee structure is like.

I LOVE novice dearly, and I hope he knows that, but I am a little concerned about his willingless to offer himself as a guide.

 

Its not that he's too new here, its not that I think he doesn't have experience, its just that I believe he has a dedicated obession with the seemier side of assholes, and since, by his own admission, he HASN'T DONE MUCH with the guys he was with, I can't take his opinions with little more than a grain of salt.

 

Sorry, novice, this does nothing to diminish my affection for you. Its just MY opinion. Especially when it comes to someone who really wants to experience what NYC has to offer.

This agency seems to have lost its pace. Use to find a willing staff and nice boys. Only problems now. I have been using Chelsea guys--the only 24/7 NYC agency around--great results.

i use to use campus and had great results. i gave them another try in december with "brad". the picture on their site is probabally 3 years old and he has filled out a little and not as defined. it was a good but not great evening and he performed well.

 

wish agencies would update their pictures; all agencies seem to use old pictures.

 

the nice thing about agencies is that you can make a call and talk to someone and they do the work of getting ahold of the guy and they set things up. it has been rare when you get something besides voice mail when calling an escort directly.

Chelsea Guys and Maximum have always had the Muscular, Swimmer types, very popular in NYC. Both these agencies, are run very Professionally. I am not sure if dealing with the Younger Escorts,on Campus for the owners or clients, is more of a problem or not. But at $300 an hour from an agency, it is a definite Gamble "Chemistry" wise. Alot of Freelancers did start for the Experience ,with one of these Agencies Originally. :+ :+ :+

When I started using them, when I lived in NYC, they were good. An overnight was $1100, and an evening was $800; both rates very reasonable for an agency. The pics are definitely not updated, and the quality of boys has gone down. A real shame, beacause they were top notch. In my experience, Maximum is a drug agency. I always trusted the confidentiality of Campus. I hope they pick up the pace again. They need to come back to earth with the rates...

Michael from Campus retired over 2 years ago. The agency seems to be trying to find its place. The guys that run it are professional and helpful. I have hired from Campus in the past 2 years and have always been very satisfied. They seem to run a nice agency and a good group of boys work for them.

 

My suggestion to them would be to do more recruiting and get more boys on the site. They have not been placing nearly as many new boys on the web as they could. NYC is overrun with twinks who are willing to work. The key for an agency is that deals with twinks is to find them, weed out the bad ones and make the ones left happy. That is not an easy task.

 

They have a guy that works for them from time to time named Sebastian and he is excellent. He is cute, fun, sexy and intelligent. I took him to Montreal one weekend with me and he was amazing. I am not sure that he is on the site now but I think if you request him, he may be available.

 

As far as the other guys go, there are always high times and low times with agencies. I am sure Campus will get over their low slump.

What's the advantage in using an agency instead of just contacting the guys directly? How much extra does it cost?

Hey Pierrot.IMHO.. It can and does always except with Premier cost an average of $50 Bucks more an hour. Sometimes a $100 IN THE NYC Market..BUT you have the Luxury of using C.Cards..You do the right research, use this site as a helpful Reference, still your best bet. There are guys who are on "both" Agency and Freelance Sites like Rentboy Etc.....Remember going thru an Agency, NO Guarantee as to how your "Chemistry" will be with any escort! NO MATTER what the guy on the phone says! I "besides" the Rate factor, like to get a feel thru my questions via EMAIL FIRST! IF I get a "call me" forget it! :+ :+ :+

I never knew Michael when he ran the agency but I was lucky enough to meet him in Montreal shortly after he retired. I have never met a more friendly guy with a fun personality -- two traits that I imagine go a long way when it comes to herding cute twinks.

 

I have met the present owner and his assistant -- nice guys. and I second Oz's remarks about them being very professional and helpful. Had a great time with them at dinner about a year ago.
